I was disappointed in this, but in fairness, it does the job. It is barely a step above a stretched bed-sheet or a bare wall, and the primary selling feature is that it isn't prone to wrinkling when stored/folded, which is important. Ultimately, though, it is a lot of hassle for something that feels (and looks) like cheap drapery.If this is the product type you're looking for -- soft cloth-type projection screen -- it does the job. I'd highly recommend a dedicated pull-down unit; spend more money, get a better product.It doesn't fail, though. It just doesn't impress.

I've had several portable projection screens over the past several years that all suffered from the same wrinkling issue when stored away for a while. This projection screen does not have this issue at all! the type of material used in the manufacturing of this screen is very unique compared to other screens I've owned. I can roll up and store this screen in the included bag, then come back days later to make use of it and have no wrinkling issues at all. That's a first for my projector-based viewing experiences.This model is a very big screen, which requires a decent projector to make use of the entire size. I use this outdoors in the backyard for "movie nights" with friends and family and am using a projector that I paid a couple of hundred bucks for. I can't say from experience, but I doubt the low budget projectors would be adequate to take full advantage of such a large format screen, so keep that in mind.Picture quality is great with this screen and perhaps the best I've experienced when compared to other types of screens I've had in the past. It's somewhat stretchy, which is nice for making the screen nice and taught. I mount my screen to a backyard privacy fence using the included hooks and string (another plus). The first time I used the screen took me about 15 or 20 minutes to get it hung up and ready for use. Now that I have the hooks installed in the fence, it's literally on a two or three minute setup process.I love being able to roll up this screen after usage and store it in the included bag. It takes up very little room, and (again) because of the anti-wrinkly properties, I don't have to worry about the condition of the screen the next time it's used.Overall this is a great economical projection screen option that has proven to be a solid performer as well.

The material of the screen is actually very nice. I was able to project on this in full dark and medium dark environments (night time & day time in a basement) with no difficulty seeing the screen or details using a 1080p 3000 lumen projector. Outdoor applications for me went well so long as it was proper dark outside ("just after sunset" yielded massively faded everything, but that is more my projector than this screen to be fair).The temporary fold marks dropped out of the screen in less than 5 minutes from hanging it every time I used it (aka normal setup time anyways). I will say that the two bottom corner holes need to be with angled anchors or there is a curve in the screen, which is to be expected. Four corner angled ropes, with minor adjustment, worked perfectly fine. Hanging from 'on site' situations for outdoor placement required either the two bottom corners be angled or having light tension on the side mounts.I rate this portable screen at a happy 8/10. It handled indoor & outdoor use cases with no issue so long as outdoor lighting conditions were taken into consideration.The projector I have barely manages indoor with full daylight regardless of screen, of course. Based on my own experience with various projectors in the past, this screen may be able to handle not-in-direct-sunlight daytime usage with the right projector - the one I have is focused on 120 Hz at 1080p with less than 1 ms input delay, so brightness is present but not crazy good.The last commercial projector I used in 2022 would have worked well for a daytime application on this particular screen in my opinion, but that was also a ludicrously expensive projector that was on loan at the time. Something like that would be required for an indoor in-full-daylight application with no issues.

Thin enough to see through. The wrinkles never drop out, even after nearly a week hung inside. Find something better.

I bought this projector screen to use for outdoor public outreach events, tith a projector connected to a telescope.It comes with white plastic hooks with two-sided tape, in case you want to hang it on your wall. I won’t be doing that. I bought a frame for it that brakes down and fits in a carrying case. I’ll be putting a zip-tie loop on each grommet, and hanging it on the frame for outdoor use. The zip-tie loop will remain in place.The projector screen fabric is very white and soft, and the grommets are installed well, and are very sturdy. These grommets won’t be pulling out.I’m very pleased with this purchase.
