I bought two spokeshaves at the same time, one flat and one curved. The curved spokeshave plane iron wasn't ground square and the edge had lots of chips, including one big one. A bit disappointing for Record tools, QC let this one slip through. The flat spokeshave was ground square, but also had some very minor chips in the edge.

Bin in Sachen Hobel absoluter Laie, aber meinen Zweck ein paar Latten zu glätten hat er erfüllt.Hab auch nicht erst geschärft oder sonst was umgebaut. Gibt sicher professionellere Hobel, aberfür mich war dieser das beste Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis

A good spokeshave at a very economical price. Needs some polishing of the base and blade refining to be really sharp and easy to use. Paul Sellers has a very helpful video on youtube about spokeshaves m
