These are really great! I got them actually out of desperation - always freezing when walking my dog every day, twice a day. I knew I was going middle of the line, wanted them to be worth buying, not junky light cotton, but not expensive ones you'd use skiing. They're beyond moderate - to me, they're EXCELLENT (just haven't tried the insanely expensive ones before). I couldn't believe the first time I used them - and I got the women's XL, and they fit nicely like a Large, they're not insanely big. But couldn't believe the difference just worn under sweats - pants & shirt - and same jacket, what a HUGE difference they made. Where in past I was jumping up & down while the dog smelled every blade of grass, just wanting to get home, wearing these - with a decent jacket, hat & gloves - I just couldn't believe I could literally double the walk in this freezing cold weather with no problem. I'm totally for them, and will be getting another set, likely two.
