Oft passiert es, dass bei der Waschmaschinenwäsche die Kordeln von den kurzen Fußballhosen meines Sohnes während des Waschens heraus gezogen werden. Wie oft sitze ich dann da und zuppele und ziehe mit der Sicherheitsnadel die Kordel durch den Hosenbund. Ja, manchmal tat es auch ein Glas-Strohhalm.Ich versuchte es mit den bestellten Hilfsmitteln. Anfangs stellte ich mich etwas dusselig an, aber dann ging es doch ganz gut. Es ist auf jeden Fall gut, diese Hilfsmittel im Hause zu haben.

I hate when drawstrings accidentally come out. This handy set provides a variety of tools for grabbing and threading your errant drawstrings. Previously, I had to pull the whole drawstring out, attach a large safety pin to one end and tediously wiggle the safety pin from one end to another. Now that I have this set, it will be much easier and more efficient.

These tools are principally designed to turn skinny straps and insert elastic or drawstrings into casings. While there are ways to do this without tools while you are initially assembling an item, tools like these are necessary if you are inserting replacement elastic or cording. Otherwise you'd have to unsew the casing.Other uses include channel trapunto quilting and some hand weaving. The medium length pointed tool can safely turn sharp corners on linings. I would like it better if the other flat end steel tools had a more rounded end so they wouldn't catch on the inside of channels.You'll choose your tool based on the length of the strap or casing plus how and what you want to insert. Examples and observations follow.-- length: Use shorter tools for shorter casings or ones which may require you to change direction (like trapunto or curved channels on swimwear). Use the ultra long plastic tool for waistbands and long seam ruching.--connection: use the small tool with the moving ring to grip many elastic bands. This one has a double notched tip which can grip elastic cording. Use the tools with the tiny latch hooks to turn spaghetti straps in finer materials. Use any of the tools with large eyes for larger grist yarn, cord or drawstrings. You can tie your cord onto most of the rest of the tools. Note that the ultra long plastic tool has a double eye so it will hold the cord without the extra bulk of bending it in half to get down a narrow casing. You may also be able to use it to correct weaving errors after taking items off the loom (especially reweaving warp).--type of inserted material: Flat goods can be gripped. Cords, yarns, drawstrings can be threaded or tied onto eyes.Additional notes:--the ultra long plastic tool comes folded which makes it easier to store but unfolding it may be awkward and the bent part could break if the plastic becomes brittle with age-the rings on the ends of the latch hook tools won't travel down a casing. They are a handle for you to pull your spaghetti straps inside out.

Mir passiert es oft, dass in der Waschmaschine sich die Bändchen von den Laufhosen oder von den Hoodies lösen. Das Werkzeug ist perfekt dafür, diese schnell wieder reinzuziehen. Bisher habe ich dazu immer eine Häkel- oder Stopfnadel zweckentfremdet. So geht es viel schneller.Dem Set selbst liegt keine Anleitung bei, es enthält verschiedene Werkzeuge für diverse textile "Problemchen". Die Anleitung ist aber hier auf amazon bei dem Produkt zu finden, ich denke ich werde mir diese einfach ausdrucken und dazulegen.Da ich auch gerne und viel nähe und stricke, kann ich die einzelnen Teile auch dafür gut verwenden.Ich empfehle dieses Werkzeug gerne weiter, es ist praktisch, wenn man sowas gleich zur Hand hat.
