I never learned the foot drag or other techniques used by hockey players to stop, so in my urban recreation settings I have to use the provided brake pad. I can safely use this on the whitest concrete and not see any mark.

I have been through about 7 of these.They have been able to stop me and two big, very enthusiastic dogs without leaving a mark on the stopping surface (when my skin is used to stop, a mark usually is left - a red one...)Good product, and easy to install.

I bought this as a replacement brake for my K2 skates. After a few weeks of skating I've been pleased with it so far. Its easy to install and stops me quickly.
