Die Anleitung ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber wenn man das Prinzip erst mal verstanden hat, funktionieren die Snaps perfekt und lassen sich auch super öffnen und schließen.

Die Zange funktioniert einwandfrei. Auch die Druckknöpfe haben eine gute Qualität. Es sind schon einige schöne Stücke entstanden. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

This is a great starter kit. There is an impressive selection of snaps and the tools are good.Before getting this kit, I had never installed any snaps. The instructions coming with the kit are short, clear and complete: you can’t miss. A couple trouble shootings are included. Everything is covered.The kit comes in two plastic boxes: one for the snaps and one for the tools. The box for the snaps is good, but the box for the tools is flimsy: it doesn’t close properly. That’s a minor flaw, I can still put the tools back inside but it should be better.One WARNING. I bought this kit for a sewing project requiring snaps to be applied to 2 layers of faux leather. The “official” two layers combined thickness was 2 mm... But it wasn’t quite so.When fixing a snap, you pressure two pieces together: one piece has a flat head and a pin and the other is a “male” or a “female” snap.Well, the 2 snap pieces didn’t stay together on the two layers of faux leather. No matter how hard I pressed with the pliers, they fell apart !! Trouble shooting said that when this occurred, it was because the fabric was thicker than 2mm and you needed LONGER pins, not included in this kit !!Oh boy. I didn’t expect that (I thought I was within the thickness limit).I couldn’t afford the delay/trouble of ordering the same snap colours with longer pins and wait for another long delivery. So I’m going to tell you what I did to get out of this situation.I decided to try reducing the thickness of the fabric by removing one layer on the underside, just enough for the snap piece.1-To do a neat job, I used one of the “extra” DIE included in the kit as a template and drew a circle around it at the exact emplacement with an erasable marker.2-using small, sharp manicure scissors, I made a small incision BETWEEN the two layers in the center of the circle3-I carefully cut 2-3 mm INSIDE the circle ⭕️, between the layers, parallel to the circle line all the way around and removed that small circle.4- I tried the snap piece for fit (perfect fit)5- I marked the center of the now one layer faux leather fabric pricked it with the tool then put the top snap pin piece through.6- I used the pliers to press the two pieces together and bingo: the pieces fit perfectly and don’t fall apart, and once the pieces are in, you can hardly see any trace of the “surgery”.Success depends on three things:First, make sure your fabric is LESS than 2mm thick.Second, make sure the PIN piece is completely imbedded (hidden/swallowed) inside the black DIE before closing the pliers and applying force.Third, read the instructions(!) they are short & well written.This is a wonderful kit that you will enjoy using.

El producto es 100% la calidad que específica, realmente estoy muy satisfecha, los snaps son de la calidad esperada. El tie po de entrega fue muy inferior al estipulado. Ampliamente recomendado.

Funktioniert tadellos und ist sehr einfach zu handhaben, auch für Anfänger. Die Kam Snaps halten wirklich bombenfest, hätte ich garnicht erwartet. Die Farben sind sehr schön kräftig und die Snaps an sich haben eine tolle Haptik. Klasse ist auch die Aufbewahrungsbox für die Snaps und eine zusätzliche separate für die Zange samt Zubehör. Von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

The set arrived promptly and well packaged. It contained one plastic storage box holding all the snaps, 12 colours separated into compartments. The other plastic storage box contained the snap pliers, screw driver, hole piercer and tweezers. There were 3 more interchangeable discs for using with other sizes of snaps and the T5 disc was already fitted. There was also a shank to use with very small snaps which ensures perfect fit.The instructions were in the box with the pliers. I did a test and only squashed one Half of a snap. Success on my second go. Very easy to use I just have to check that the snap is fully sitting in the pliers before squeezing them shut. This ensures perfect fit. I made a small sewn pouch and fitted a snap easily. It is really cute and works great. Very pleased with the item and very pleased with the fast delivery.

Estoy muy contenta con la compra. Nunca lo había utilizado y es muy fácil, rápido, cómodo. Ahora los utilizo para muchísimas cosas: bolsas que no cierran bien, disfraces, ropa para los niños, etc...La única pega es que la cajita de las herramientas va tan justa que no queda bien cerrada del todo.

Die Kam Snaps sind schon ok... natürlich ist die Qualität nicht mit der von Druckknöpfen vergleichbar, aber dafür gibt es ein paar nette Farben zur Auswahl zu einem nicht zu hohen Preis. bei etwas dickeren Stoffen sind die Kam Snaps schwer anzubringen und gehen leicht kaputt. Für zu dünne Stoffe sind sie auch weniger geeignet, weil dann der Stoff beim Aufmachen reißt. Sonst bin ich aber zufrieden. Eine kleine Enttäuschung hatte ich gleich beim Auspacken des Produkts. Die Box, in der die Zange und das ganze Zubehör steckt, war kaputt und so fliegt das ganze Zeugs ungeordnet in der Gegend rum... aber kein Wunder bei dem dünnen Plastik. Da sind ja heutzutage die Sahne Heringe von Aldi stabiler verpackt.

Lieferung kam pünktlich, beim Auspacken war jedoch die Werkzeugplastikverpackung bröselig, verbogen und mir fielen einige abgebrochene Plastikteile vom Verschluss entgegen, die Zange hatte sich wohl auf der Reise geöffnet und ihre Verpackung gesprengt. Außer, dass man die Werkzeugkiste nun nicht mehr schließen kann, bin ich mit der Zange und den Knöpfen ganz zufrieden. Bin Neueinsteiger auf dem Gebiet und hatte ein paar Probierknöpfe an einem Stoffrest befestigt, mit dem Resultat, dass sie sich ganz schlecht schließen ließen. Bei mehreren Stofflagen hat es dann aber prima geklappt. Die Farben sind schön, ganz kurze Anleitung dabei, empfehle aber ein Video mit ausführlicheren Tipps für Anfänger. Alles in allem gutes Produkt.
