Love the battery usage and non-slip cover.

The scale seemed to be good quality and seemed fairly simple to operate. Used it for around 3 weeks before the battery started flashing a low battery warning. So I went to charge it and found that it wouldn’t. I left it plugged into a UPS overnight to make sure it wasn’t the power input. Found it didn’t take in any power over the 14 hours it was plugged in with the UPS output monitor supporting that statement. Since I didn’t test the charger as soon as I got the scale as it arrived with a full charge. It ended up dying outside the return window. So it’s just now a $30 square brick.

Readability is great - as it’s super easy to use.Value for money is amazing. Thickness of scale is perfect since it’s fits right under my bottomless portafilter so I can weigh how much espresso is being pulled. Super accurate and perfect quality.

Since I don’t measure things like this scale provides, I don’t see the value in it. It will just be used as a manual scale for me.This Pour Over Scale and Timer accuracy is within 0.1g on all the objects I weighed between 1 and 50g. And the precision was 0.1g. Under a 1g, the scale did not measure well, and it would not measure any weight under 0.3 grams. The scale comes with a thick rubber pad that fit nicely over the scale to protect it from heat. The scale with rubber pad weights 11.6 oz, which feels heavy for its size. It measures 4.3 x 4.2 x 0.9”. The scale has 4 modes: Manual, Auto, Espresso, and Water Flow Velocity. The scale remembers the last mode when powered on with the top power button. If one uses the side on/off button, all the settings are reset to the default, which is Manual mode and Beep is On. The Manual and Auto were easy to use by reading the instruction booklet. The espresso mode instructions in the booklet are slightly wrong; After adding the coffee, one presses the “T” left button, not the power right button. Other than that, the Espresso mode works as stated. The Water Flow Speed Mode was harder to figure out and I’m not sure I understand it completely. I think one needs follow the instructions for the Auto Timer Mode, but have the “V” mode displayed, and then the water velocity is displayed. There are 2 funny things with the scale. 1) when one removes the coffee, the scale displays a negative value, but the negative sign looks like it part of the timer seconds. 2) The “T” on the scale controls if for Timer, not Tare. A single tap of the power button will do Tare.
