Diese Version des KKSB Raspberry Pi 4 Aluminiumgehäuse ist etwas größer, bietet dadurch viel Platz und ist zudem sehr einfach und schnell zu montieren. Das Gehäuse besteht aus schwarz eloxiertem Aluminium. Das Gehäuse selbst fungiert als passive Kühlung, bietet aber Platz für KKSB Tower Cooler für Raspberry Pi 4. Unsere Kühlexperten in Schweden haben bei der Entwicklung des KKSB Raspberry Pi 4 Gehäuses besonderen Wert auf optimale Kühleffizienz und Kompatibilität gelegt. Die abnehmbaren Gehäusewände verfügen über zahlreiche Lüftungsschlitze für eine optimale Belüftung. Die Rückseite des Gehäuses ermöglicht den Zugriff auf den Raspberry Pi 40-PIN GPIO-Header.

Das Gehäuse erschien mir durch die Höhe als guter Kandidat für einen Raspi-Aufbau mit HAT. Mein Plan war, dar Original Seitenteil dann durch ein eigenes zu ersetzten. Leider funktioniert das überhaupt nicht. Aber selbst für einen Raspi ohne HAT ist das Gehäuse ziemlich ungeeignet... Es lassen sich beim Gehäuse nur die Seitenteile entfernen. Die Verschraubung des RaspberryPI Board gestaltet sich somit extrem fummelig und wenn man nicht sehr aufpasst, dann macht man sich die Platine kaputt. Vielleicht gibt es dafür Spezialwerkzeug - darauf gab es keinen Hinweis. Ich wollte nicht nur normale Schrauben einschrauben, sondern Abstandshalter für ein HifiBerry-Hat - das ist noch komplizierter... Man kommt weder einem Schlüssel, noch mit einer Zange so heran, dass die Verschraubung "normal" funktioniert. Nachdem mir dann nach viel Gefummel gelungen war die Abstandshalter einzuschrauben, musste ich feststellen, dass die Platine des Hifiberry HATs mit einer der Schraubösen für die Seitenteile des Gehäuses kollidiert und das HAT somit auf Spannung sitzt (s. Foto - rechts). Das dürfte nicht nur bei dem Hifiberry HAT so sein, sondern bei jedem HAT welches die gleiche Breite hat wie der RaspPI. Leider eine ziemliche Fehlkonstruktion dieses Gehäuse... Schade eigentlich...

I bought this enclosure in order to fit a Raspberry Pi 4b along with a heatsink , Can Hat and a couple of GPIO adapter boards inside for a Home Solar System Controller running Victron Venus OS.I could not find any other enclosure that would fit all my parts inside and keep them away from accidental damage or prying fingers, I'm suprised no-one makes a modular, extendable case system yet for the Raspi, so many people out there must be after something like it.However, as many others have said, it's an absolute pain to get your parts in and the screws tightened up, the fitted supports on the base are M2.5 so straight away you're restricted to the hardware you can use, then getting all the parts in place and still be able to fasten the hardware up is a feat worthy of a gynaecologist.It works for me (so far) but if I need any more hats I'm going to need a bigger boat.

This is the 4th type of Raspberry Pi case that I have tried. All of the others were designed such that the micro-HDMI connector would not properly seat, so it would easily get dislodged and lose video signal. This case is different. The outside lip of the micro-HDMI socket is flush with the outside of the case, so it fits perfectly. The fact that it accommodates the KKSB fan is another major plus. I'll be ordering more of these for my other RP systems. Excellent design and construction - highly recommended!Here's a handy tip if you get this case - get a small phillips screwdriver with a long thin shank if you don't already have one. It's almost a requirement to secure the board in place, but with that, it's simple.

Underbar passform till Raspberry Pi 4B och ett MMDVM kort, får plats 2-3st till 🙏🏻Det enda negativa är att man måste ha en jätte liten skruvmejsel och baby händer för att kunna skruva dit dem innersta skruvarna på Pi då hållarna till sidoplåtarna sitter just där 🙄Men jag bytade ut philips skruvarna emot insex så blev det super lätt 🙂👍🏻KÖP! 👌🏻
