I’ve had this fan since 2011 and never knew there was a more efficient way to display it. I’ve just been propping it up against things. This stand looks so much nicer and cleaner. Even though it’s clear and hardly noticeable, the visual improvement of the fan standing up straight and not about to fall over is such a nice upgrade. You can easily adjust the arms to accommodate different size fans and hold it open in the way you want. I don’t have a problem with it falling over, so I don’t know if it would with a heavier fan, but it works fine for this one. Very happy with it!

This piece of cheap plastic (which came broken) would detract from any fan you put on it.

I bought 2 for 2 different fans. One of my fans tilts back too far in the stand. There is nothing to clamp the base of the fan to hold it upright so it slides forward in the base and the fan then tilts backward.. The arms do not clamp onto the sides of the fan so the right and left edges of the fan are just resting against the plastic arms. The up-turned edges of the plastic arms are not oriented in the correct direction to clamp around the edges of the fan. Also the screws of the arms do not seem to stay tight.
