I got this for my dog while we're backpacking, it works as expected, I love klymit sleep pads. My only "gripe" is that it's a little longer than I expected. The weight is alright since it's a few oz lighter than the pad I had been using for her which was another klymit pad. No leaks and as long as you don't fold them the same way every time you pack them up then they last a lot longer. I am very comfortable on all of my klymit pads so I'm sure my dog is, she seems to sleep fine on it. It's easy to inflate but it did take more breaths than I expected or maybe I was just tired from hiking all day.If you have a dog that you want to be comfortable on trail, or even a child I guess - this sleep pad is excellent.

I bought this child size mat for adult car camping because of the compact size. And that was a good choice! This PERFECTLY fits across the back seat of my Jeep Renegade and also, to my surprise, works well for the front seat too! Renegade does not have the most comfortable seats and this really takes the edge off. I fully inflated for the back seat and then deflated a little for front seat. This is compact enough you could even use it as a full seat cushion while driving and traveling. Being an air mat , using this in the front seat it’s going to conform to your body perfectly and is the right size whether a man or woman. Wow! If you got a long drive ahead of you this is recommended above any of those “drivers seat cushions.” This is so comfy and versatile. I’m 5’1 so I can nap in the back seat. That may be difficult for a man but you could use this in conjunction with one of those back seat hammocks too. The thing is this is compact (yet not too narrow) and won’t have a bulky awkward end that is too long for your seats. As a note, this type mat is very durable and I recommend over the inflatable “back seat” full mats that are of the quality of a typical air bed mattress that tends to puncture easily. This type Nat should hold up well even if you got a larger one or another brand. As for this brand, I like the fact it has different valves one for inflating one for deflating. That ensures easy and quick inflation and deflation. It took me two seconds (ok just a bit longer) to fully inflate this by my own wind power without a pump if any sort. I mean, it’s really easy. And the fact it also deflates so easily means you can put this away quick and taking up hardly any space. The compact size also makes it easy to maneuver it around in your car while inflated. As for how long it holds up I’ll update that in the future as this is day 1. Oh and hey I’m sure kids will like it too 🙂

Does what it should. A little challenging for heavier people but that’s why we hike. To get lighter. Easy to blow up. Took me 8 breaths. After it was adjusted air-wise it was very comfortable. Will he used mostly with a hammock. Longer mats are challenging with a hammock. This one fits great. So far so good.

I really like how small this packs up, light weight, and is still a very comfortable sleep.I wasn't happy that it is not self inflating, but found it does not take much to blow it up at all.I am using this product for bike packing. So, ideally in a sleep mat, I'm looking for; small pack size, light weight and comfort. Most mats only tick two of the three boxes. This mat ticks all three.
