There is no "give" or stretch to the plastic. I tried to put it on a hard side suitcase first. It took me over 5 minutes. It kept wanting to stick to the suitcase. It did not want to slide on. Then I put it on a cloth suitcase. This was much easier, but still had to put it on inch by inch. I bought the largest size for my large suitcase. The size was perfect!

This was WAY thicker than I anticipated. I was thinking it was something more akin to the thickness of a thicker poncho. This feels like this plastic ware from the 60s. It's heavy duty and fits my no-name brand luggage. I took measurements of the luggage ahead of time to make sure the proportions were right and it came true to size. My measurements weren't *exact* to what the cover said it was, but my luggage was about an inch smaller and it worked out well. It does have two large holes in the top of the cover, one for the luggage handle, and another for the extendable handle for pulling the luggage. I thought those holes would be just a smidge smaller, but they did work out. If there is a bag stored on top of the luggage, it won't make a difference.What I liked the most about it has the strap for the undercarriage to help protect it from water underneath, too. It's not fully sealed underneath so it's not going to protect it from outright puddles, but finishes off the full coverage around the sides and even the edges of the luggage. It connects between the front wheels and back wheels underneath with a firm Velcro that doesn't easily loosen. Overall, definitely impressed.

Let's realize this. Spending on a suitcase that doesn't look like a sad and boring box. Then, the next thing is I didn't want airport conveyor belt depreciate the value of my suitcase next to nothing. This luggage cover is the answer. It blankets my suitcase without interfering with the look of my suitcase.This luggage cover is basically a thick pvc plastic cover. It's thick enough to feel protective but not too thick like a shower curtain. With the right measurement, this fits really well.With this luggage cover, I am not worried about the weather when I get to the airport. I can't control the weather for my departing and arriving airports. Also, when I buy a coffee and get into a crowd, I am not scared of spilling coffee on my suitcase. I just wipe it clean.This luggage cover is a good insurance. It's no brainer for the price protecting more expensive suitcase.

My luggage is the correct dimensions as mentioned but the cover is too small where the Velcro at the bottom won’t connect.

I would buy this again for my smaller luggage! This is sturdy and has large Velcro closure to secure at the bottom.
