お散歩カメラで「一脚」を愛用しているが、固定画角の長時間撮影では、前後と回転のブレが出てしまうので、ミニ三脚を探していた。この「カーボンファイバー製一脚」を入手、取説を見ると「ミニ三脚」の別売りがあったので、すぐに追加購入した。本体の十分な剛性にくわえ、ミニ三脚による前後と回転への制御も十分でき、しかも、設定次第では斜めに傾けることもできるスグレモノ。ただ、カーボンファイバー製で軽いはずが、6段伸縮としているため、期待したほど軽くないのが、残念です。

Ich habe letzten Sommer Einbeinstative lieben gelernt. Ich nehme sie inzwischen lieber mit in die Natur, da ich so bei der Tierfotografie etwas flexibler bin. Soll heißen, ich kann abstützen um nicht zu verwackeln aber kann schnell(er) ansetzen und weiterziehen - Mobilität ist deutlich besser. Allerdings hatte ich eines aus Alu. Dieses hier ist aus Kohlefaser und das merkt man - im positiven Sinne. Empfohlen und deshalb 5 Sterne!

Ich habe den Monopod von Koolehaoda über das Vine-Programm bekommen und bin total begeistert von ihm. Er ist leicht, stabil, robust und einfach in der Handhabung. An den gummierten Drehknöpfen drehen, rausziehen, wieder zudrehen, fertig. Ausziehbar bis auf 174 cm. Das ist lang genug, um es klassisch als Einbeinstativ mit der Kamera zu nutzen oder wie auf dem Bild zu sehen, als Tonangel umzufunktionieren. Klappt prima. Einfach den Gummifuß abschrauben eine Doppelgewindeschraube rein, Tonspinne mit Mikro dran, so schnell und einfach hat man eine Tonangel.Genial finde ich auch die Doppelschraube am "Kopf" des Stativs, die sowohl eine 1/4" als auch eine 3/8"-Schraube in einem ist. Damit kann man einerseits die Kamera anschrauben oder z.B. eine kleine Lampe mit einer entsprechenden Schraubenuaufnahme.Wie man sieht, bietet dieses Einbeinstativ viele Möglichkeiten zum Einsatz. Dabei ist es sehr leicht, super verarbeitet und der Preis von knapp 70 € ist vollkommen angemessen für diese Qualität und Funktionalität.

As one other reviewer has pointed out, for a carbon fiber monopod, its strength isn't it's light weight. It's strength is, quite obviously, it's STRENGTH. The other reviewer incorrectly stated the number of sections, however, this is not a 4 section monopod, it is a 6 section monopod. And herein lies its ability to fit into a very small size for storage, yet still be able to extend FAR above my ability to peek into the view finder (I'm 5-10"). You would have to be a very, very tall photographer indeed for this to not be long enough for you. It gets VERY tall.What really surprised me here was the overall quality, and the fact they just...got everything right with this one. Usually you pick up some sub-$100 monopod or tripod and there's always some...oddball quirk or some missing feature that is the reason why it's in that price category in the first place. They're never exactly the way they should be. But this Koolehaoda blew me away with its build quality from top to bottom. And everything I expect to see, is here, and nothing is missing. I have some very nice tripods from some very expensive top-tier manufacturers. Brands you've definitely heard of and would respect. I've learned a long time ago, that money = quality in the photography world, especially where tripods and monopods are concerned. Normally, and not being a "gear snob" just my experience with this stuff (a long time) would normally tell me to pass on by any monopod $100 or less. But to pass this tripod up because "It can't possibly be any good at that price" would be a serious error in judgement. Please take my well traveled advice here.The size is impressive in both directions. Comes with a replaceable (standard 3/8") rubber foot, AND comes with a spike for those outdoor excursions. And a neoprene carry case. AND a belt holster. Which I've frankly never seen before. Has no problem with 1/4" or 3/8" up top, so you can stick your camera on there, or a ball head, or a video head, or a mic, or a light / strobe, or whatever you want. The grip is nice and "grippy" and should be easier to hold than to drop, especially with the included wrist strap. And the carbon fiber tube quality? What's the saying? It can be cheap/light/strong (pick two)? This is cheap, and strong. No way will you have a complaint about it being "too flexible" or "not sturdy enough". Know that this carbon fiber monopod should be able to take ANYTHING you want to put on it.I can't say enough about this. It would seriously be as at home in the hands of dad shooting video of his child's graduation as it would be on the sideline of an NFL game in the hands of a professional. it's a fantastically made monopod at a fantastic price. It's not missing a single feature, and it punches WAY above its weight class. If it had a big-name brand on it? I wouldn't hesitate to pay 2x as much at a camera store. It's very rare I'm so impressed with a piece of photographic gear that I consider to be in the "budget category". This is simply an excellent monopod that just happens to have a budget price. Try as I might, I just can't find anything to complain about, to that end. You should seriously take a look at this one. 5 stars, easily given, easily earned.

For anybody that is over 5’10” tall this is the perfect monopod where you don’t have to stoop over and wear out your back… Strong, carbon fiber, fast adjustable claps, and they don’t slip underweight or pressure. I would give it a perfect rating.
