You will not want to use this lock if you are not in line-of-sight of your bicycle. It is super easy to use, and install, but it only prevents someone from riding. Make sure you take advantage of a secondary plug-in cable to secure your bike to something that does not move.

too small for a 2.1" commuter e-bike tire. nice lock. smooth action. came with mounting straps. too bad it wouldn't fit over my tire more or less the fender on my aventon level 2 bike.really wish they would publish what size tires these locks fit over.be aware that amazon seller 365 bikes charges $7.02 to return the lock.

Was a little tricky to install because the directions are terrible and I was hoping to be able to use the screw holes on my bike frame but that didn't work out. I ended up using the enclosed mounting straps instead and they worked fine. It's just a little peace of mind to be able to lock my bike for a quick run to the toilet or to grab a cup of coffee. I don't expect this to do much to deter a serious bike thief.

The lock itself is great. It was a little challenging to install, but just search for a video. Once installed, I find it so much better than lugging around a chain or bar lock.
