Gutes Preis-/Leidungs-/GB pro €-Verhältnis. Hoffentlich ist die MTBF groß genug, da ich das Medium zur Sicherung nutze.

I've bought this raid drive to replace my QNAP nas which I didn't like at all as a photographer. I just wanted a drive to access all my photos and the nas was full of other garbage apps which made it a mess for me.So I've decided to once again go for a DAS (direct attached storage) and went for this drive.While I'm okey with its speed (not editing 4k videos from it), the thing that bothered me the most was the very slow wake up times and the readout of the folder contents, especially the ones containing a lot of files. It takes somethimes more than 3-4 seconds to display a folder contents, sometimes even more.I still have it but just use it as a backup drive, not connected to my mac anymore. Went back to a NAS, this time the Ubiquiti UNAS Pro which I love.

Die FP arbeitet schnell mit meinen MacBook, zudem macht sie einen wertigen Eindruck.Die blaue Kontroll-Leuchte vorne stört mich ein wenig, aber das mindert nicht die Funktion und Wertigkeit.

This is now the third LaCie 2Big Docks that I've owned, so obviously I'm a fan. That said, they can be a bit frustrating. Specifically how often they'll fall asleep. Truthfully, this could be a Mac OS issue, I’m not entirely sure but I can be editing in Final Cut Pro, switch to my mail app for a second to see if there's any new mail, and by the time I return to Final Cut, the disc has fallen asleep and I have to wait upwards of a minute or two for it to wake up and allow me to start editing again. It's incredibly frustrating! I've taken to using a third party app to keep it awake by constantly writing a little bit of data to it every 30 seconds, which works, though I worry about the long-term effect it'll have on the drives.Also, while I usually don't bother with installing the software that drive manufacturers ship, you absolutely *need* to install LaCie's poorly named "Toolkit" app so you can not only adjust the LED brightness but more importantly reformat the drive to a Mac OS format in order to optimize speeds.That being said, considering the other options I've tried in the past this is among the best. I just wish it was *better*.

E' il sesto Hard Disc Lacie che prendo per lavoro. Durati tutti parecchi anni, li aggiungo per motivi di capienza e per esser sicuro di evitar rotture, ma per ora nessuno mi ha mai dato problemi nonostante rimangano accesi h24 per anni!

Ich machs kurz...Positiv : gutes Design, obwohl mir die silbernen Versionen noch besser gefallen habenNegativ:- ökologische Katastrophe ist das Mitliefern von 5 verschiedenen Kabeln, anstatt nur die Adapterplatten beizulegen- ein 15cm langer "Netzteil-Klotz" mit Kaltgerätestecker - das geht mittlerweile viel kompakter- Lüftungsmanagement sehr fragwürdig - nur Abluft-Löcher auf dem Boden des Gehäuses, welches innen durch eine Metallplatte von der Docking-Einheit komplett abgeriegelt ist.Zudem ist der Lüfter noch von der Hauptplatine verdeckt...- Festplatten müssen noch verschraubt werden (kein modernes Klicksystem)- keine RAID-Umschalter - RAID muß mit Software umgestellt werden- Der blaue Button auf der Frontseite ist nicht mehr zum An- und Ausschalten gedacht - er leuchtet nur noch und hat keine weitere Funktion.- Powerbutton nur auf der Rückseite (und schwer zugänglich)- "nur" Seagate IronWolf Pro Platten verbaut (bei dem Preis wären Exos-Platten wohl angebracht)

The LaCie 1big Dock HDD is 16TB, offering ample space to accommodate my expansive photography library. The speed is as advertised, ensuring seamless data transfers. A subtle hum is noticeable during operation, similar to other LaCie HDDs, but the sound is far from disruptive. As I need to download daily pictures from my SDXC card, the mounting works significantly more efficiently than the one found in my MacBook Pro 14". I seamlessly connect my external monitor to the LaCie 1big Dock HDD via a Thunderbolt 4 cable, allowing for daisy-chaining. The monitor remains readily accessible even when the HDD is not in use, thanks to the flawless connection. Overall, my two-week experience with this product has been overwhelmingly positive. I particularly appreciate the discount I received.

Soweit bin ich mit der Festplatte sehr zufrieden.Sie ist Schnell (bis 128 MB/s habe ich erlebt) und sieht sehr angenehm aus.Wie lange sie hält, kann ich noch nicht beurteilen!

確かに今流行のSSDで文句なしの瞬速でとても満足しています。一枚搭載でなく４枚ぐらいのがあれば良かったかも？それとカメラのメディアがCFexpressとCFastとSDを主に使用しているので購入しました。今までは直接カメラとPCを接続していたので高い買い物でしたが満足しています。
