I would not buy this. Designed by someone that has never been on a yacht or in a motorhome. Most likely from some factory in china that copies items without any idea or proper research. All hatches on boats etc are open and closed from inside and sometimes from outside also, but NEVER opened or fastened from outside only. It only opens from the outside ! Anyone can open your window. If you fit it in reverse it is almost impossible to make watertight, if it rains all water comes inside and knobs are bigger than the frame so you cant put any internal frame near them to turn them. In my opinion yes it is cheap... but useless.. Its in the garage now and I doubt I will never use it.. do not buy it for a camper or a boat
