I have collected and used dozens of different photographic ball heads over the past 40 years of being a professional photographer and this Leaplumin head is the strongest, most secure, most versatile ball head for its size I have ever owned.Don't let its small size fool you, this ball head is super strong for its size and once tightened-down you can not move it from its position no matter how hard you try and force it. It's that strong and well made.Many times with small ball heads like this, you won't get a panning rotation in the base but this ball head has one, which makes it much more versatile than the heads that don't.Its most clever feature to me is its reversible top plate which can be rotated 180° so that you can quickly switch between a cold shoe and a standard ¼"-20 thread. Why haven't other manufacturers incorporated this feature? I don't know.It also has a ¼"-20 threaded hole on the edge of the reversible cold show - allowing you to quickly mount something at a 90° angle.

Sehr gute Fertigung. Kugelkopf sanft laufend mit Panoramascheibe. Für meine Zwecke, Handy mit Klemmhalterung und Kompaktkamera einfach ideal.

I am currently using this to attach my flash to a monopod and it works perfect even tho the flash is kinda heavy

Leaplumin 2-in-1 Cold Shoe Ball Head: Great build quality and smooth operation. Entire unit is nicely machined metal, including the knobs and the reversable plate. Unfortunately, the opening dimensions of the cold shoe (where the flash shoe is to be inserted) was too small in height (the shortest distance in the opening). My Sony HVL-F43M Speedlight and my Godox XPro-S remote trigger could NOT be inserted into either mounting location (plate and side option). NOTE: this has not been an issue with other cold shoe mounts/plates.Due to standard gear incompatibility, I am returning the unit for a refund. Their customer service was very responsive.
