When I purchased the poles I thought I was getting 2 poles because that is what the pictures show. Too expensive for me for only 1 pole, sadly will need to return.

I have peripheral neuropathy which causes balance issues. Neurologist gave me a choice if I want to continue my daily 5-7 mile walks. Trekking poles or a cane. These are excellent! Allow me to cruise around town without risk of falling. Used them to complete the GW parkway classic - a 10 miler I ran a few years ago. Somedays I use just one to leave one hand free for packages. Looking into collapsible poles for travel and am also looking into ones designed for running.

I like that these poles click to lock rather than twist which often lose their tension with age. Chose these as they fold for travelling.
