Big name supplier did not have any pawls/spring kits in stock. . . I took a sticky winch apart to remove the collection of "bug mush" and when removing the gummed up pawl, the tiny pawl spring decided to go swimming. The plastic bag of Lewmar pawls and springs went into hiding and the only place I could find a Lewmar repair pawls and springs was here. They arrived in two days and we made the start with a working starboard jib winch. Of course the plastic bag appeared at the bottom of the tool bag. New spare pawls and springs now live in an old pill bottle on a shelf in the head.

Shouldn't have tried ordering this through Amazon. It didn't fit my winches.
