There are a lot of double wall cups out there and I chose this one because it had the best rim. The rim can make or break a drinking cup. This one had the cleanest rim for drinking as well as keeping it clean.

The double wall keeps it comfortable in your hands and offers a small amount of insulation but not like a vacuum insulated one.

This cup weights 147 grams and NOT 126 grams. Also it hold about 431ml to the rim so about 400ml of usable water space. The welding is questionable and I don’t know how well will it hold over the time.

OK, why does one buy a titanium double wall mug with folding handles at a much higher price than your usual steel double wall mug? Becausea) it is supposed to be light,b) it is supposed to protect its user from the heat of the beverage inside, andc) is easier to pack.Now this one isa) noticeably heavier than the steel double wall mug of roughly the same capacity which I bought here on amazon (one does not even need to weigh them, you can feel the heft of a heavier item),b) it is much poorer than the steel mug in terms of insulation (with freshly brewed coffee inside, I can barely hold it in my hand so the handle is very useful, while the steel one is very comfortable even for a child),c) It arrived with some metallic/hint of chemical smell. Tried 15 minutes with baking soda, 15 minutes with salt, and 15 minutes with a household detergent to no avail. Only a stronger cleaning solution (oven cleaner gel) did away with it.

Cup is nice and the perfect size for a small coffee or tea it’s 8oz. It’s a nice piece to add to my titanium collection.
