This cooling pad is legendary, my under-volted CPU temps used to be aroud 50 to 60 when idle and almost reaches 100C at full load, now at only1000 RPM it's constant 40C when idle and stays stable in the 80s on heavy tasks.10000% recommended product.

Ich spiele schon seit vielen Jahren immer auf den neusten Laptops mit guter Grafikkarte. Hatte immer Coolingpads drunter von verschiedensten Anbietern, mal mit einem großen Lüfter, mal mit mehreren. Bei meinem neuen Laptop haben diese nicht mehr gereicht, vor allem bei Spielen wo selbst die 4090 sehr warm wird. Daher habe ich mir mal dieses zugelegt mit Schaumstoff rings rum und einem Regelbaren Lüfter. Ich muss sagen, ich bin begeistert, das Spaß macht echt einen Unterschied und kann ohne das es auf volle Leistung läuft jedes Spiel ohne Hitzeprobleme am Laptop mit allen Ultraeinstellung.Wirklich zu empfehlen und man wird den Unterschied zu den normalen Coolingpads mit Lüftern merken.

drops both cpu and gpu temps considerably (i9 14900hx cpu and rtx 4090 laptop gpu), CPU of course will try to draw more power as it cools so it will seem less effective on cpu when looking at the maximum temperature spikes, but the averages while idle and under load will drop heavily nonetheless. very impressive results on GPU, raytraced 1440p gaming & large resolution stable diffusion use never saw it above 70 in the ~10 hours i've so far used it, compared to mid-high 80's when simply raised at the back.have been running this at 600RPM, it goes up to 2800, so if you're okay with more noise you can get even better results.i live in a dusty environment, so the vaccuum seal & dust filtration are a huge plus, and the primary reason i chose this cooler, everything else has just been a pleasant surprise.if you have the rare laptop that vents heat out the bottom, then this is definitely not for you, otherwise absolutely yes, 160 AUD to help insure a 5000 AUD purchase is well worth it.

Tldr: actually cools gaming laptop, cooling and loudness varies by rpm, should buy when on sale.The box itself says V12, and if it didn't work, I would have returned it. However, it has reduced my gaming laptop's temperature (checked with nvidia's built-in program rather than msi afterburn so idk if that'd make any difference in the readings) by around 25-35 degrees Celsius. My laptop can reach 100 degrees Celsius during gaming sessions normally. The average gaming temp for open-world games that I play is now between 40-75 degs on max setting of 2800 rpm depending on how much fighting I do in games, and what games I play.The noise level for max is very loud, and it gets quieter (I can hear it if I go outside and close the door of my room, standing 3-4ft away from the door as a light hum) at about 2000-2200 rpm, is kinda ok in loudness at 1400, and is pretty quiet anything 1000 rpm and lower. At 2000-2800 rpm, you'd have to play the game's volume pretty high to cut through the din of the cooling pad if you play through speakers. Didn't try with headphones, sorry.2000-2200 rpm can cool by ~20-25 degs, 1400-1800 rpm cools about ~10-15 degs, and 1000 and below in rpm does not do too much for temp (not more than 10 degs).My gaming laptop is kinda old (rog strix scar ii from 2019) and one of the fans is shotty, which is why I bought this cooling pad. Didn't try it with other kinds of games, but it at least works for me and my gaming interests.If it's on sale and you can bear the loudness or have some noise cancelling headphones, it's a good deal. Before using this cooler, under heavy sustained loads my temps usually sat at around 90°C+ in the CPU, and around 82-86°C in the GPU. Once I started to use this cooler at only half speed, these temps dropped by around 15-20°C on both, especially so in the GPU. I have never once seen my GPU get near 80°C since I started using it!On the CPU side, it works great in most situations, but certain laptops such as mine still pull in a lot of power, so depending on exactly what you're doing, results may vary. There is nothing any cooler on the planet can do for sudden power spikes under 100% capacity loads on 12700H laptops such as mine! In these cases, unless it is necessary, reduce the load on your laptop if you want to avoid this.As an example of how good this cooler is, Elden Ring on max settings in 4k is extremely CPU intensive, and would be stay at 99-100°C without the cooler, as my laptop would be pulling the absolute maximum power at all times. However with the cooler, it stays between 80-90°C. Games like COD won't go above 65°C in game with the cooler, but when it's pre-loading shaders, temps can still go up towards 95°C. Overall, I feel that half speed is the perfect mix between noise and cooling, as the only difference between max speed and half speed is only around 2-5°C in temp reduction, but the noise is much, much louder.The biggest issue for most will be the noise. At max speed, it is around 70db, almost like a hoover. At half speed, it still sounds like a PS4 that someone hasn't cleaned since they bought it. Still, at half speed, this shouldn't be an issue if you wear headphones like I do. Just be wary if you're using it when someone is trying to sleep!All in all, this is a fantastic cooler that is currently the best on the market. It may seem quite expensive for a cooler at first glance, and can be loud depending on the fan speed, but it's resounding results make it fully worth the cost in my opinion!

I hate being shaken down. This is an item you buy because you really need it. It's priced ridiculously high as a result.However, the device works better than any device I've tried. I own a MSI Prestige 15 laptop, which is very powerful and capable even today, but it got so HOT I was concerned it would bake itself, and I reduced CPU, GPU and other use, so I couldn't tap its' full capabilities.This device forces air thru the laptop faster than the laptop can take it. At full force, air starts coming out of holes in the laptop I didn't even know existed, including between the keys. It keeps the ENTIRE laptop cool, not just the key spots like the built in fans do.I can do heavy work all day long with the cooler's fan at 600, with acceptable noise level for office work. If I push the laptop extra hard, I've needed to crank the cooler ip to as much as 1400 at which point it's pretty loud.Given how expensive the laptop was, and/or how much it would cost to replace, it's worth the price for what should otherwise be a $25 item.
