Got these for a drop through build. They’re solid and so far have held up. Gonna buy a few more for some more builds.

Got these when building my board to preserve the board's integrity as much as I could when attaching my trucks. I had to make a few small cuts on them to accommodate the trucks I was using, but after that, they worked just fine. No complaints!

The short:I did not give 5 stars because the rubber in these is pretty substandard and I can tell they will degrade quicker than I'd like. >Good availability >placeholder "good enough" quality, not long term >squish A LOTThe long:They seem to be the most available option to solve the cushion issue on drop-though truck setups. They condense/ squish A LOT under the pressure, and you can't really stack two and double up because it would effect the stability of the mounting hardware. So 4/5 because they should be a bit denser to deal with the actual problem at hand for these types of riser pads. They do pad against vibrations well because of this though.I bought these because I was getting stress cracks on my bamboo drop-through deck from over-tightening my mounting hardware. I ride on Gullwing Sidewinders and I keep them semi-tight so I can get a deep carve when I want but can also bomb hills and not get speed wobbles... because of this I usually have my hardware pretty tight. Ultimately I know I'm still searching for a long-term solution; I thought about possibly cutting my own pads out of some vinyl-based plastic sheeting. But to just get something in between your trucks and your deck... these are your best bet. I wouldn't buy more than one set though because I would see these as a good placeholder until you find a better long term option.

I had to cut a slot in these for them to fit with my Randall RII’s, but that was accomplished easily with a sharp pocket knife and some careful cutting. That being said they made a world of difference. In my estimation with drop through trucks all the vibration from the street is transferred directly to the top of the board. When trucks are mounted to the bottom of the board you have your weight directly on top to dampen the vibration. My ride was rough until I installed these and they helped tremendously. I mounted them on top of the board under the truck on my drop through deck. There is no reason to put them anywhere else and that is precisely where they are intended to go. If you are wondering why you ride is so rough give these a try. The next thing I’d try is some softer wheels if you still aren’t satisfied. These worked out great for me.

If you own a drop through its a good idea to get a pair of these to keep your board nicer longer as well as to absorb shock. Theyre like any other thin riser pads I've owned, and at a good price too.(as of writing this they're 5bucks) But like I said they are THIN, I got them for my downhill board but decided to put them on my sector 9 striker instead since cruising around doesn't require much shock absorption. If you have some shock pads lying around cut them to size instead (like I ended up doing) but if not they're a good product at a great price.
