I had a bad experience with my mintion cam I bought, so I returned and bought this for about $60 less. Wow what a difference, within a couple of hours I was engraving prints with great accuracy. The camera quality is awesome and well worth the $80 I paid. Get it and don’t mind the crappy reviews. I have a Longer Ray5 20w laser.

I have a LaserTree diode 400x400mm laser cutter. Trying to get my cuts aligned on the surface was a nightmare! I’ve mostly been trying to engrave dogtags and metal business cards. So so so many mistakes and misalignments. Then I picked up this camera after seeing a video about it on YouTube. Holy crap. Total game changer! The set up and alignment/calibration is a bit tedious, but necessary. Once you have it aligned you can import a picture of your print bed, with the object on it directly from the camera into your Lightburn software, then put any text or image directly on the camera image and Viola it engraves/cuts it exactly where you placed it on the image. This is going to save me so much time and money. Well worth the cost, really glad that I picked this up. My only grip, and this is a minor one, is that the mounting arms could be a bit sturdier as they are a thin pipe. I may head to Home Depot and get my own pipes to construct a more secure mount so I don’t bump it out of alignment.
