so far so good. compact, lightweight, and works as described. storage mode stops at partial charge, normal mode tops them off in one of two ways depending on power supply - with a stronger input power, it charges both at the same time, or with a lower input power, it charges one at a time. worked perfectly with two factory DJI batteries. happy with it so far. big time saver compared to charging thru the drone input.

If you have genuine DJI batteries, this is a 5 star charger! It will charge both batteries at once instead of sequentially one at a time with the official DJI mini charger. Unfortunately, the behavior is quite odd with 3rd party batteries - only one bay works correctly, the other is effectively useless. I tried two different examples, originally thinking the first one was defective. I certainly blame the 3rd party batteries at least partially, but I blame the design of this unit for the difference in bay behavior. If it simply didn't work with 3rd party batteries I would be disappointed but understand - but different behavior in each battery bay is inexcusable.To be fair, I don't generally recommend 3rd party batteries, thus I only docked this one star, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it 100% for folks using only authentic DJI batteries.

I tested this dual battery charger for batteries used in my DJI 4k. I currently have the fly more pack with 3 batteries, and a tri charger. This charger has some options that I don’t believe are available with the OEM (DJI) charger.First, with an appropriate power brick over 25 Watts, it will charge your batteries simultaneously rather than sequentially like the OEM version does. This obviously speeds up charging time - a huge benefit because these batteries traditionally take considerable time to charge. Added benefit - they include charging cablesSecond, it has a mode for charging the batteries at a reduced capacity that is optimal for long term storage. I’d consider long term anything longer than 3 weeks. This is a very beneficial feature if it truly helps with battery longevity because we all know how pricey drone batteries can be. The more charging cycles I can get the better.Third, it offers the ability to be used as a power bank for any device that can be plugged into it with a USB cable. Obviously it requires the batteries in the charger are indeed charged and not depleted. I always applaud the idea of having devices to offer power in the event of an outage or inaccessibility to a charging station.In summary, this charger offers more features than the OEM multi charger as stated above. This definitely should be a consideration if you are looking for a battery charger for the type of batteries used in the 4K and some other mini drones from DJI. Unfortunately, I have to deduct it 1 star because it only offers dual charging. Because of space limitations in my DJI case, I cannot fit another charger so I cannot replace my 3 battery charger, even though it’s slower. If not for this specific shortcoming that affects me and likely so many others, I would give it an enthusiastic 5 stars,

This nice little charger is kind of light-duty, and I'm not sure it would survive a drop to a hard floor, but I like it a lot. It charges my Mini4K batteries quickly (I'm using a 67W power supply so I get the speed charge) and I especially like that it can also be set to charge to 60% for battery storage. It charges both batteries simultaneously with the 67W PS, lower wattages will make it charge one battery at a time. The charger doesn't get hot in use.I especially like the storage feature, since I don't fly much unless we're out in the country, and it can be weeks between our weekend jaunts. I had been fitting in short flights to try and leave the batteries around 50-60%, which was a hassle. Now I can fly down to my usual 15% and then charge to 60% without worry.Note that the charger will not reduce a battery down to 60% it if's over that amount, though!
