The picture shows nice wood grain visible from the front side. There is some nice wood grain but it's in all the areas that are covered by the Mac Mini. The button to push to a turn on the machine works but it's not perfect. I wish the little button stuck up about 1 more mm so you didn't have to push up/down as hard each time you turn on the device. So, if the wood grain was visible from the front side (the side that matters) and if the button to turn on the device was a little more pronounced, I would have given it a 5 star rating. It wasn't bad enough to make me want to return the unit...but close.
