Ordered this for a Pi Flight tracker project that we are building at my local cadet sqn. This will run with this aerial and read/display all the flight movements within our area, while contributing to the network with data. As the building we are in is limited to attaching items externally to the building, this self adhesive antenna will be the perfect item to complete the project. Item arrived well packed in a ziplock bag with a good length (3m) of cable attached..The antenna is low profile with 3m adhesive attached to rear (similar to those pads on car interior mirrors or dashcams). This stuff is serious strong, so ensure you test your location before removing the backing- it's a one-shot application. Antenna was fitted to a window, and the cable run to the Pi. Signal strength was good and once a bit of configuration was carried out, the tracker was reporting data back to the server without issue.Price break on the antenna is excellent, making this a low cost upgrade for any wireless application. It is also IP67 rated so could be installed outside without issue (just remember a "run off" loop on the cable for rain). Easy to fit/install and highly recommended.

I have a security camera in the garage that doesn't quite comfortably reach the wifi signal. Popping this externally makes the difference, and means that the wifi signal actually gets there as planned.This would be great for any device with an external antennae connection that you need to connect up with a big long wire; particulary behind walls. Just make sure that you're connecting it to the 2.4GHz antennae not the 5GHz one or you're not gonna have a great time.
