I got this for a matcha set that sits on the counter. It is perfect. Fine mesh sifts the matcha so there are no clumps and it has a tiny bowl so it won’t get my cloth dirty. Highly recommend this upgrade to your set.

I use one for my matcha tea and liked it enough to buy a second for my son who would enjoy being able to make matcha lattes at home. The little cup is helpful for keeping the messy matcha powder from getting on my counter.

I really should of read more carefully. I didn't notice the "mini" part.It is fairly tiny. But large enough for one cup. I usually sift each cup as I do it anyway so that's no biggie.I'm guessing this tiny size would come in useful for travel since it would be a very convenient size for that.Anyway, it does have a nice fine mesh so it is very effective in thoroughly sifting the matcha powder of even the tiniest clumps to make a good smooth frothy cup of matcha.I took off a star just because the pics make it look nicer and more substantial. But it will get the job done and is perfect for a small travel sifter.
