This product reduces your water pressure with in a day and the inside of the filter starts to give way .

These are good filters for the price. Fits in standard 10 inch filter housing. I have bad water so I go through filters faster than most. Water pressure stays good if you are not running too many different outlets at one time.

I run a primary 10" 5 micron filter and a secondary 2.5" filter. The 2.5 has been traditionally a 25 micron filter as I couldn't find anything smaller at a decent price till these guys. So far, things seem to be pretty filtered (I have well water). Time will tell in a week if it did it's job. But price wise it's a great buy. Good luck!

I've installed water filters on almost all of our bathroom sinks, as well as the pot filler in our kitchen. Even though we're on municipal water and I don't have any concerns about the water "quality" I like to be able to filter out the chlorine and occasional other tastes/smells that come with our water from a taste perspective. I've standardized on filter housings that use 2.5" x 10" filters and always just get the carbon filters because particulates aren't an issue with our water.These fit the housings we have just fine and seem to do the job. If I'm honest, I'm not sure that there's a huge difference between all of the no-name carbon block filters and it's hard to really do a side-by-side comparison (let alone the fact that I don't have a lab that allows me to do any scientific analysis).That said, the price on these is competitive. I will update if I experience longer-term issues with performance.
