I went crazy trying to find a 12v battery for my 1950 BSA M20. I didn’t want to change the original battery box and trying to find a small battery 12v3ah I was getting disappointed. Then I saw this battery from this merchant. It fit pretty good not an exact fit but I put a couple of rubber spacers to keep the battery from jumping around. I needed another one for another bike, and ordered another one. Good price too

Many years ago I converted my 1964 Triumph Bonneville from the original 6 volt to 12 volts. However, the battery compartment dimensions are unchanged and it is difficult to find a 12 volt battery that will fit. The Yuasa YB3L is compatible but it is the conventional flooded type. I prefer AGM technology in my motorcycles and the Motobatt MB3U is a good alternative. This is my second one; the first lasted five years before it had to be replaced. Motobatt customer service is quite good, and the battery arrived quickly and well packaged.

I needed a new battery for my XT-350. I ordered a battery named after a rare metal. Unfortunately the manufacture has contracted with a new factory and the battery I received is too tall to fit my motorcycle.This one is a few thousandths taller than the last battery I had but it still fits, although it is snug. I have no idea about the longevity but if you need a battery for an XT-350 this one fits mine well.

This is the second MB3U that has self discharged in 2 months and will not take a charge.Don't waste your money on this.

Ordered this battery for a Yamaha XT500 restore project.. It has sat in the house origional package since it arrived little over 2 months.. Finally get it installed and its dead and wont charge. Hope Amazon comes througn on some warranty... So far they say its out side the 30 day return window... Not a good start.
