We are heading north for 16 days on our boat. We bought the Navilight to have as a spare Anchor light and to use on our dingy.I thought, mistakenly, the NaviLight is a $100.00 dollar LED flashlight I will put it on the boat and assembole it the week before we leave.This was a mistake. The vendor we used has one of those highly restrictive return policies.There are lots of pieces (don't want to lose any so prudnece says don't open the packaging until you are reasdy to mount and use it . After all it is a $100.00 LED flashlight for all intents and purposesSo of course it doesn't work and there is no refund.This is dissapointing. Don't buy it for a gift that will be given more than 30 days out.

Nice and easy to install on outboard after a day fishing for the way back. I made a Lanyard to clip on outboard just in case. You have to unscrew the clear lens to get to the 3 triple As battery holder. They say the batteries last a long time but I only use it to get back to the dock so, only an hr at a time.It comes with a really nice neoprene rubber bag to keep it from damage and the suction cup is tight and easily removed. You have to wet the suction cup with saliva to make sure you get a good vacuum. Totally satisfied.
