I recently added a ring light to the photo and video tools. It was soon apparent that I needed something to keep it protected while not in use. I really came across this Collapsible Reflector Carry Bag by Neewer as a serendipitous find. Neewer has been in the photo equipment market for about 5 years or so. They are a forerunner to a growing list of companies in China making very high quality photo/video equipment at very reasonable price points. So, how does the Collapsible Reflector Carry Bag hold up to this tall reputation?The good: Well first, I did not acquire this to use for its stated purpose. But a bag is a bag - so starting with that; It is well padded, so items placed inside it do have an integral level of protection. You are probably out of luck if a vehicle runs over it or something, but that is a bit extreme. For day to day hazards - moving from site to site for example, this bag should well protect the item(s) inside. This would include a collapsible reflector, diffuser, etc.It is made from a good quality, heavy duty fabric, and features two carry handles, a very heavy duty zipper opening, and internal pouches for additional storage. The primary caveat is that anything one wishes to store in this needs to naturally assume and hold a somewhat flat profile - somewhere around a maximum 1" thickness. Most LED lighting panels would probably fit, for example, but might be about maximum in terms of allowable object thickness. The internal pouches are good for items such as USB-type cables or such - again, fairly flat.In the "other things to consider" column: This is somewhat larger in size. While it should lay flat in luggage, for example, the overall diameter of 17" may extend outside of suitcase boundaries. It is a flexible bag, so if the item being kept inside does not require the full 17" of space, one should be able to fold in an edge for fit.Another point to consider - While it does well protecting its contents from light/medium contact with foreign objects, it will not prevent multiple items inside the bag from contacting each other (save for small items placed in the internal pouches).The bottom line: This is working VERY well in the purpose for which I acquired it. I have no doubt those reflectors that collapse in the same way as an automotive windshield sunshade will fit like hand in glove. Sensitive gear protection without breaking the bank.

I have the Neewer 5 in 1 collapsable reflector (43"/110cm) and the bag they give you is extremely thin. Granted, it has held on for me since 2018 but recently the zipper just came off track. Nothing I could do to save it.When I attempted to reach out to Neewer to inquire a replacement, they would only offer selling me one but would ship from China and take over a month to get here. They also offered to give me a discount on a new 5 in 1 set however I didn't think that was necessary.Then while trying to find another solution on Amazon, I came across this item. I was like "why didn't they (Neewer) tell me about this item.Its MUCH better quality than the one they give you with their 5 in 1.

Didn’t like the bag for my reflector and this is a perfect replacement. Neewer makes quality products and this is another one. I think you can put other things in this bag it’s not limited to just reflectors.

This bag is very well made. Has handles for carrying. Love that I can put my reflector in it so it won't get dirty or damaged.

If you go to a fancy camera store and buy a name brand reflector you can easily spend $50. This is about 1/5 the price and works just as well as any I have seen. It's well made and very portable. It is a five-in-one reflector so it's very versatile. You can use it in almost any situation. I used to carry several different reflectors and now I carry this one. At this price it's a no-brainer. You never know when it will come in handy.
