Jaaaa, man muss sich überlegen, wofür man die Griffe einsetzten möchte. Sie lassen sich nicht überall sinnvoll anbringen. Zunächst hatte ich Schwierigkeiten, das System zu verstehen und fand die Gurte für meinen Zwecke falsch herum angebracht. Das lag aber daran, dass ich von Rohren mit einem dünneren Durchmesser ausgegangen bin. Als ich dann endlich einen dickeren Holzbalken in meiner Wohnung fand, passte es und die Gurten konnten wie abgebildet angebracht werden. Letztendlich hängt die Halteschlaufe aber an den beiden äußeren Klettverschlüssen, die dann das ganze Gewicht halten müssen und der Riemen wird nur einmal drüber gelegt und verklettet. Zum kurz mal festhalten geht es, aber mein Leben würde ich nicht daran aufhängen. Bei mir werden zwei der Griffe ihre Funktion am Mast meines Bootes erfüllen, denn wenn man während der Fahrt mal nach vorne muss, dann freut man sich über eine Gelegenheit, sich gut festhalten zu können. Und weil die Gurte an dieser Stelle durchaus Sinn ergeben, erhalten sie von mir 4 Sternchen.

More heavy duty than I had thought. That's a great thing because you don't want these things tearing off on you while you're trying to hold on over bumps. All the stitching is well stitched and the velcro holds well.

These grab handles work well and are a nice addition to my Wrangler. I tested the first one out on my wife's side to see if she would approve, without telling her. Her initial reaction is that she liked it, but didn't like the brightness of the red. I couldn't disagree with her, but I understand that red is a deliberate color of the Rubicon brand, so I understood why they did it. I would have preferred it to be completely black though, to blend in better.The handles themselves seem pretty solid, but they do stretch a little and don't go back up into place, so they tend to hang down a bit. They were easy to install, just wrapping them around the roll cage and looping the velcro straps through, but I found the straps to be too long. So long that the ends land at the top of the roll cage, making it hard to reach the ends without taking off the roof. So if I wanted to remove them, I have to take the roof off to unpeel the straps or shimmy something up inside to push the straps back. Not the end of the world, but if the straps were a little shorter so that they landed on the bottom or side of the cage, it would have been appreciated.

Having tested and reviewed another set of these roll bar type grab handles I can say that these are an excellent option. They are made from very strong Oxford fabric and heavy nylon and paracord material. Also, unlike some others I've seen these have metal rings and not the weak plastic rings. This ensures that are very strong and durable and not easily broken like the plastic ones. The will fit a 2-4 inch round or square roll bar and are excellent for Jeeps, UTV or SxS rigs, etc. I am very pleased with the quality and tough design of these grab handles and would recommend them.

Robust gemacht.Die Griffe werden mit drei breiten Klettbändern befestigt. Daran kann ich auch Klimmzüge machen!Lieber hätte ich die Flechthülle um den Griff in orange gehabt (Farbe meines Wranglers), aber egal. Es ist gut dass die in Signalfarbe sind, denn im Winter im Dunkeln ist der Wrangler innen nicht übermäßig illuminiert. Deswegen ist der rote Griff ok. Sonst wäre schlichtes Schwarz angemessener.Meine bisherigen Griffe haben ein Gummipolster statt dem Geflecht das diese hier haben. Ich finde das Geflecht angenehmer und irgendwie stilvoller.

Set of four hand strip grips that are made of nylon and attach to roll type bars in vehicles to give extra hand grips. They can be used in SUV / Land Rover type vehicles that have a roll bar inside. Pull the velcro, wrap around the pole, re-snug the velcro... this will put hand holds anywhere inside the on, off roader. I also use these on our boat. The poles are smaller on the boat but these attach and when the waves are choppy whitecaps, those on-board can have additional handholds. We have also used these to hang hammocks when camping. Attach to round posts and attach the hammocks and they are ready made beds that are safely off and securely Off the ground.

The webbing is reassuringly thick and well made. I have little doubt it will hold just fine. Also the hook-and-loop fixtures hold well. The stitching is precise and seems pretty strong too. The stitching though is where I think any weak point might lie. It's not that I feel it is actually weak, but the main grab-handle is secured onto the strap by machined stitching ... and there isn't much of it. Now if that stitching is as strong as it seems to be, that's all fine. I'm just saying it's expect that stitching to fail before any other part of the strap.The grab handles are laced paracord affairs and offer a really solid, comfortable hold with your hands. They're thankfully wide enough to be operated by gloved hands too.Nice things overall.
