Wie sterilisiere ich die RapidCool™-Basis?
Sie können dies über UV-Sterilisation, Kaltwassersterilisation, Dampfsterilisation oder in der Spülmaschine tun. Niemals in der Mikrowelle dampfsterilisieren.
Wie lange bleibt die Isolierflasche heiß?
Die Isolierflasche hält Wasser über einer sicheren Temperatur, um mindestens zwei Stunden lang ein Futter zu machen, wenn es zuerst mit kochendem Wasser vorgewärmt wird. Die Isolierflasche funktioniert mit dem digitalen Deckel, um Ihnen mit einem roten "Nuby" zu zeigen, dass das Wasser noch heiß genug ist, um Bakterien in der Formel Ihres Kindes abzutöten.
Kann ich die Formel sofort mit dem abgekochten Wasser mischen oder muss ich warten, bis das Wasser auf 70 °C abgekühlt ist?
Nein, Sie müssen nicht warten! Das frisch abgekochte Wasser kann und sollte sofort für die sicherste Fütterung verwendet werden. Die NHS-Richtlinien besagen, dass das Wasser nicht weniger als 70 °C betragen sollte, aber das bedeutet nicht, dass Sie zuerst warten müssen, bis es diese Temperatur erreicht, bevor Sie es mit der Formel mischen. Das Mischen von Formel mit frisch gekochtem Wasser ist die sicherste Art zu füttern, da es sicherstellt, dass schädliche Bakterien beseitigt werden.
Woher weiß ich, wann der RapidCool™ wieder einsatzbereit ist?
Der RapidCool™ absorbiert Wärme aus heißen Flüssigkeiten. Nach Hitzeeinwirkung dauert es mindestens 3 Stunden, bevor sie wieder einsatzbereit ist. Die Flasche sollte sich kühl anfühlen.

I have been using these nubi flasks for over 9 months now and they are incredibly durable and save so much time for night feeds. The white flasks cool boiling water to a suitable level and the grey flask will hold water decanted from the two white flasks.So easy to use and with a sleek design can be easily stored and don’t look out of place on the kitchen counter.Excellent value for money and highly recommend to anyone who is formula feeding.

The instructions does say to not leave the digital lid in the sterilising solution for longer than 15 mins but i sometimes do by accident. il put 15 min timer on but if i’m doing something when the timer goes off i forget about it and take it out maybe an hour later so the light up nuby sign is not believable anymore because it shows green after the feed has been in for 1 second so i count to 10 seconds now then take it out and it’s normally fine temp then, so look after the lid! but the rapid cool does the job got no issues with it but the digital lid doesn’t work to read the temp on the hot water flask because the water leaks out the side when tipped upside down to be read, so i’ve bought a seperate hot water flask and thermometer to test the water that way. The rapid cools work perfectly fine

Absolutely amazing, takes boiling water and cools it instantly. Two key points:1) on hot days, the Nuby will go green but it’ll still be slightly warm milk. I suspect it’s because the outside air temp confuses the bottle. To overcome this, once sterilised stick it in the fridge prior to using2) you need to buy the bundle as it takes 3 hours after use to reset. So if you have a newborn and they need a feed every 3 hours (or sooner), a single Nuby won’t work.Another point is people complaining that the Nuby is hard to clean. I’ve never found this to be an issue, it cleans very easily. Our routine is:1) boil kettle, let sit for 20 minutes2) pour into your drinking cup, add formula3) give it a swirl so everything mixes properly4) pour liquid into Nuby, flip it upside down for 10 seconds5) flip it back over and press the button. If green, pour back into cup. If not green, flip upside down for a further 10 seconds6) test temperature on wrist, serve to baby.

These are excellent. We combination feed so these bottles make our night feed so quick and easy and it means we don’t need to faff around with boiling kettles in a hurry or spend lots of money on a prep machine. They’re also great when out and about. Two things to note: firstly it takes 3 hours to reset the bottles after they’ve come into contact with heat (ie after use, after a wash or after heat sterilisation) and secondly the hot flask doesn’t keep water all that hot for all that long. Neither is an issue for us but is worth knowing.

I still can’t figure out what voodoo this uses b it apparently it’s patented technology that absorbs all the heat. The green /amber light is a bit of a hit and miss - for example I’m hesitant to add the powder straight to the cooler incase it cools the water down below 70’ so I mix the powder in the feeding bottle first then pour mix into rapid c to cool. I think the amber light only shows if the liquid is over 90’ anything less it’ll just flash green. So what I do is add the hot milk turn the cooler upside down, flip it up and down a few seconds until I get the feeling that it’s done. You can feel the area around the lid warm up which tells me that the flask has absorbed the heat from liquid.And vah vah voom milk ready for feed. It brings the temp down to about body temp which is perfect to add things like colief - so the milk is ideal for baby by feeding time.I wouldn’t bother with the flask though the water doesn’t stay that warm - I tend to use my tommee tippee flask which retains heat much efficiently than this nuby- but the coolers are mind blowing. The coolers aren’t light weight though but they are very portable. I think every formula parent needs these in their life. Oh also I’m not keen on the plastic pots i thought they fit inside the cooler but they don’t - so no point buying those just stick to the pots with multiple dispensers.
