To be fair to this product it looks pretty good when you take it out the box and the built quality is fantastic.But the that’s it. It terms of looks once setup and functionality it’s pretty lacking.The first issue is that the MagSafe charger is white. This clashes with the look. When your phone is on there you can’t see that but when it’s off the look isn’t great at all. That’s not really a fault of the product the colours won’t match but they would have known this when designing it.The next issues is usability. There no adjustments on it. It’s at a set angle and it’s not ideal. The clamp is strong but has nothing to protect your table. Your phone will also pull the MagSafe charger out with it. It just doesn’t work.The price has actually increased and it’s wasn’t worth it before and it certainly isn’t now. It’s a shame as it has such wasted potential. I wouldn’t recommend it

For £64 I was hoping this was going to be something pretty special, but sadly it isn't. Yes, the wood does look very nice. However, there is no adjustment on the stand whatsoever, the position is completely fixed. This really does restrict the positioning somewhat.The clamp part is all metal and is certainly sturdy enough, but there's no padding on the parts that touch your desk. A couple of simple silicone pads would have been a easy way of protecting the surface from the metal on the clamp.Finally, the magnetic charging base isn't held in place within this mount. Meaning pulling your phone off can also mean pulling the charger out at the same time.Personally, I just think this is poorly designed and with a few tweaks could be quite a nice stand, but even then maybe not at £64.I hope you found this review and the photos interesting, informative, and useful. I constantly pull the MagSafe charger off the stand when reaching to grab my phone. This causes strain to the cord and a requires and unnecessary step to detach from the charger.Definitely a little chunky.

I bought this to mount on my Oakywood monitor riser so that I could put my phone within view while it charged at my desk. It works well, is very solid, and looks great, at least when the phone is attached so you can't see the white charger on it (it would look even nicer if Apple sold a black MagSafe puck).The biggest downside, aside from the cost, is that you can't adjust the angle or tilt. The default is *almost* exactly where I'd want it, but not quite. If this were adjustable, and slightly less expensive, it would easily be a five star product. As it is, it loses a point for each of those pretty big downsides.
