I purchased a pair of the Original Lowe 5.504 Industrial Scissors made in and purchased from Germany to make cutting Automotive rubber or plastic hoses up to 28mm in diameter much faster,cleaner and straighter.though these could be used for a multitude of other applications as well.It uses a replaceable Aluminum,double sided,beveled edged,triangular shaped blade designed to cut from the Centre of the hose outwards in both directions at the same time for the perfect cut.They have a simple locking mechanism to keep them closed when not in use.No doubt they could remove fingers very easily! Constructed of chrome plated pressed steel and Aluminum with orange colored plastic handles designed to never move or fall off.Even the locking mechanism is carefully plastic coated.I cannot see any weak points in this design and I believe that handles, blades and screws can be purchased as spare parts. The wide “V” shaped base is designed to seat hoses squarely in position during the cutting process so the blade cuts the hose squarely..However,should the screws holding parts in place ever loosen over time,adding a touch of temporary,light duty Automotive adhesive would prevent that occurring again.As for the price,it’s a little expensive but on par with similarly priced known brands.Suffice it to say,Lowe are renowned for their German made quality hand tools and I have no doubt that this pair would last a lifetime.If I could find fault it’s not including a spare blade in the box and that’s important when the closest country stocking a full range of Lowe products is New Zealand.Shipping was remarkably fast.

Versand Tip TopDie Schere ist die Beste mit der ich je gearbeitet habe. Viel Pneumatik Leitung.Kann man nur jeden Plastikrohr-Leitungs Installateur empfehlen.Sollte die Klinge mal versagen, kein Problem. (EINFACH zu wechseln)Daumen ganz hoch.Beste Grüße

Die Schlauchschere ist wirklich toll.Leider ist Sie aber auch etwas teuer und die Klingen gibt esnicht im Baumarkt. Schneidet exakt und auch gerade - Toll !
