I can't say if this lamp is OK or not. What I can say is that it is not a suitable replacement for a Hozelock 1543 UV Lamp. This lamp has a wider section at the top where the two tubes are joined together and means that the steel plate that should slide over the tubes to secure the lamp can't. This lamp might be good for other applications but don't buy it to put in a Hozelock pond filter.

j'utilise cette lampe pendant 2 ans.la première année pour désinfecter l'eau de mon forage (donc pour consommation humaine) et l'année suivante pour la désinfection de mon bassin dans lequel j'ai des poissons.Aprés 2 ans la lampe fonctionne encore mais je préfaire la changer pour m'assuer une bonne désinfection.

I had two lamps I purchased earlier in the year , not branded , Pices I think they were called , I do not believe they work because I exchanged one for this lamp , bingo pond clears algae dead. S i recommend buying branded quality , it might cost a little more but they work

Ottima lampada da 36W ad emissione ultravioletta UV-C per sterilizzazione, alimentabile con un semplice reattore/ballast da 36W elettronico o ferromagnetico + starter.ATTENZIONE pericolosa per la pelle e sopratutto per gli occhi, da uilizzare solo ed esclusivamente in ambienti vuoti e privi di persone ed animali !
