Haben wir zum Kühlen unseres Kaltwasseraquarium gekauft, da im Hochsommer das Kühlaggregat sonst dauerläuft. Die Akkus sind wirklich top! Man muss sie zu Beginn selbst mit Wasser auffüllen, damit sich dieses mit dem bereits enthaltenen Granulat vermischt und verdickt. Achtung! Hier nur bis zur leicht übersehbaren Markierung befüllen, sonst wird das Akku super dick nach ein paar Minuten.Die Kühle hält jedenfalls schön lange an. In einer Kühlbox ist das Akku nach Stunden noch leicht gefroren. Größe ist ca. A4

I bike to grocery stores an hour away in 82+ degree temps. Although I have a good soft sided cooler, and used two large thick ice packs, there were too many warm spots, and these ended that problem.One on the front, one on the back and one on top, and two smaller sized thin ones on either side and everything is like being in a very cold fridge an hour later after being transported in 82 degrees. Refrigerated food was colder than when it went in, frozen food was about the same. Three hours after removing them from the freezer (an hour there, an hour in the store, an hour back), all ice packs are still solid.Note that these are heavier than the standard large size igloo ice packs: 3lbs vs 2.5lbs each. Some of my problem was solved by the fact that I am carrying 12 lbs of ice vs 5, the large but thin form factor makes them unobtrusive, while completely surrounding the food. So they protect the food from the outside heat while absorbing a little heat from the food, and don't get in the way. When I tried carrying just three igloo ice packs, I usually found I couldn't fit the third one. 3 of these plus 4 more smaller and thin ones all fit easily along the outside edges.

These are very large ice packs and they fit really nicely to create a barrier in my reusable bag. I use them at a picnic and they kept everything ice cold. Make sure you fill the water up about an inch lower than the fill line because it will create a little bubble and not be completely flat

Die Dinger kommen ohne Befüllung! Ich war sehr skeptisch, da sich nur irgendeine Pulver-Chemie drin befindet. Also mit Wasser gefüllt, aber nicht zuviel, denn gefrorenes Wasser dehnt sich aus, wie wir alle wissen!!! Einfach so befüllen, dass anschließend der Akku noch flach ist und etwas Luft drin ist. Dann passts. Ausdehnen tut er sich dann trotzdem noch, was aber aber normal ist!Wir benutzen die Teile mit einer passiven Kühltasche. Für Tagesausflüge nehmen wir zwei dieser Riesen-Akkus in die Isolier-Tasche und selbst abends ist alles noch schön kalt. Erstaunlich, funktioniert wunderbar und die Teile sind auch absolut dicht. Haben sie jetzt seit einem Sommer im Einsatz und sie leisten prima Dienste (Iso-Tasche natürlich vorausgesetzt!). Für den normalen einstündigen Einkauf bei Hitze reicht sicher auch einer dieser Akkus dicke aus.

The three 10"x13" cold packs come dry for shipping weight savings. Simple instructions printed on the product packaging; add water, cork, cap, freeze and use. I decided to use distilled water as my preference. I am figuring that any impurities in tap water could shorten the life of the product, just my thought. It only took approximately one U.S. gallon to fill those three packs to the marked fill line. Over night freeze, which was easy and very compact in the over the refrigerator freezer. They stack flat to freeze evenly, even in our very full freezer with many odd shaped food bags & containers. The cold packs kept the crushed ice, food & beverages cold on our boating excursion. The ice chest was an ordinary Igloo brand, not one of the super high end super coolers. Outdoor temperatures were over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the shade. Cold packs were used for eight hours resulting with one pack being cold liquid, second pack was cold and slushy, and the third pack was cold and very firm. Much of the crushed ice was still frozen and I promptly returned along with the cold packs to my freezer for another trip. I do feel that the cold pack assisted in keeping the ice frozen longer. I would recommend these for keeping the ice frozen longer or the packs could easily be used instead of ice reducing water build up in the ice chest. - Scott

Die Kühlakkus machen einen stabilen Eindruck und lassen sich an dem Henkel sehr gut tragen. Auch wenn der Inhalt gefroren ist, bekommt man nicht so schnell kalte Hände.Das Coole an den Kühlakkus ist das diese schön groß und flach sind. So kann man gut einen am Boden der Tasche liegen haben und oben einfach einen zweiten drauflegen. So hat man nicht mehr das Problem, dass kleine Akkus zur Seite geschoben werden müssen und ggf. zwischen das Kühlgut fallen. Hier nimmt man einfach den oberen runternimmt sich was man möchte und legt ihn am Ende einfach wider obendrauf.Ich möchte Sie nicht mehr vermissen im Sommer, wenn ich mit meiner Kühltasche unterwegs bin.
