Wanted to try "military quality" so I bought it. Its heavier than expected, leg adjustments got me some leg bruises. One of the (fake?) leather pieces started to degrade and got spots. Otherwise the harness is pretty comfortable and look durable. I wouldn't recommend it for indoor climbing though, it looks like it really meant to be used with military clothes like heavy pants and balls protector :)

So, the harness is a good harness, nothing surprising there, but:This harness is twice the money of, say, a Black Diamond. It is no better constructed, nor is it more comfortable, it is just Petzl.While Petzl gear is, for the most part, bulletproof, it should go without saying that their pricing is a premium, even when they deliver an average product.I like my RIG, as well as my other hardware, but my Black Diamond harness is more comfortable and just as well constructed. This is a great harness, but Petzl should consider their pricing a bit more carefully.

Definitely saves space when carrying and hasn't failed to do multiple climbing tasks. Has loops for ice gear carabiners and fits over a wide range of outer gear. Highly recommend for ice, mountain and alpine climbing.

Great product, looks good to the one complaint I have is I fit a small harness and this is a little big on me even all the way tight, would be great for peot that fit a med and large harness normally.

I wanted a harness that fit with my other gear better and wasn't a garish puke green or teal blue that all the REI kids seem to like these days. In comes the Petzl tactical harness. I've used this harness in both outdoor and indoor, and it is great at both.Pros:This harness is SUPER comfortable and easy to adjust. I'm a big guy 6'2" 240 lbs, and this can accommodate the tree trunks is use as legs with no problems.The waist is adjustable from both sides and is one of the easiest harnesses I've usedMaterials are all high qualityCan hike/climb/ run jump and dive and don't even notice you're wearing it.Cons:Price. If you're into casual climbing or not looking to expand your "tacticool" toolbox, this might not be for you.
