Simple but sturdy set for beginners. You get a set for 4 players so its the perfect set for the whole family. The balls are the perfect balance of heavy and light so they feel nice to hit and they definitely last for a while. The rackets are also well made, they don't leave residue on your hands while using them and they wont break easily. It all come in a bag to carry it. A prefect family gift.

These paddles are 7.8 oz which is by far the most common weight for paddles new to the sport of pickleball, and for good reason. The weight is the main determinant of how much power a paddle will have versus how much the paddle lends itself to controlling the ball. As the weight of the paddle increases, power will also increase but at the expense of accuracy. Conversely, as the weight of a paddle decreases, the accuracy of the paddle will improve but its power will decrease. A weight of 7.8 ounces is the ideal balance between accuracy and power which works best for the vast majority of pickleball players. Sets out there sold by different sellers almost always say that their paddles are lightweight, but some of these ‘lightweight’ paddles I have seen are as much as 10.5 ounces, so always be sure to check the weight carefully and to convert it if need be. Anywhere from 7.7 to 7.9 oz is a good weight.These paddles have a honeycomb polymer core to give rigidity with a minimum of extra weight. The face of the paddle is fibreglass which is more durable than carbon fibre or graphite. A major advantage or carbon fibre or graphite is that they are lighter than fibreglass. However, these paddles are already at an ideal weight.The only drawback to this set is that the paddles are not USAPA (US Pickleball Association) approved. The approval is your guarantee that the paddles meet certain physical and performance requirements. Lack of approval doesn’t mean that they don’t meet these standards, but I would always purchase something that has the approval.The current full price of $100 for this 4 paddle set is a fair price. Sets are similar but only have 2 paddles typically sell for $55-$70. If this GOTWAH set had the USAPA approval, I would give it 5 stars.

I am relatively new to pickleball. These paddles seem comparable to every else's paddles. They work great, and the bonus is that they came with balls, towels and a carrying bag/case.

One of the things I love most about these rackets is how lightweight they are.
