My wife and I got introduced to John Kanell through his YouTube channel and started to try out some of his recipes. He didn't miss. 12 times in a row we tested his recipes and each time we were floored by how good it turned out. We decided to grab the book so we had access to some of these recipes offline.The book itself is a high quality printing, organized by season, and has pictures and easy to follow instructions for each recipie. He also lists ingredients in terms of precise weights and measures which for baking is a big deal. The index makes it easy to find specific ingredients and types of meals and desserts.We have already book marked this book with postits to mark down things we have tried. I'll single out his mushroom bolagnase recipe as a favorite.If you are someone looking for a go to recipie book you will use more than once that is reliable, creative and forgiving to a beginner chef, this is it.

The book fully met expectations and the quality of the recipes is the same as you are used to from the website. I really like his approach to cooking, where the mixing of individual ingredients and their purpose are brilliantly described.

Schönes Kochbuch, spektakuläre Fotos.Ich folge dem Autor auf seiner Webpage und habe schon einige Rezepte gekocht. Uns schmeckt es.

This book is a culinary masterpiece, it's pure art. John presents each recipe not just as an ingredient list and a step-by-step guide, but as if he were a friend showing us how to prepare a dish with care and passion. On each page it is possible to know a little more about the person "John", his family and his history. I follow him on YouTube and reading the book is like watching his videos.Congratulations on another conquest. I wish all the best.

it's beautiful book to just look at 😊 with such nice pictures but the recipes are the one you buy this book for. full of great ideas and tips!

This book is absolutely gorgeous! John Kanell is my favorite baker. His recipes are so well explained and i learn so much from him. I also love the savoury dishes in this book. It's definitely a must buy.
