I received many compliments on this shawl. I wore it with pewter sequin pants and a pewter blouse. It looked like a set. It was just enough for cooler air conditioning event that I attended. It can be worn with a dress, skirt or pants and look well.

I love this shawl and am very impressed by the quality! I’m going to a 1920s themed event and didn’t want to get a flapper dress. I decided to get this shawl and pair it with a black dress underneath. I feel great in my look! I can actually see myself using this again whereas I knew I wouldn’t wear a flapper dress again. I feel more elegant in this and less like I’m wearing a costume.I am taking off one star due to the shawl having a musty odor that smelled of mildew when it arrived. This honestly surprised me, as it was delivered wrapped nicely in protective packaging. The tag said the shawl could be dry cleaned or hand washed, so I gently hand washed it in a sink full of warm water with some mild detergent. I let it sit for about an hour, and was apprehensive to soak it any longer because I worried the sequins could lose their metallic coating (there were some tiny metallic bits floating in the water but it’s not clear where they came from). I laid it out flat to dry overnight and it seems to have held up well and smells better now luckily!

Nice price point. I wore it over a simple black poly shift, which made this wrap the star of the 1920s-themed party. It's not heavy at all...the warp is a fine mesh. You need to be careful not to tear the material - watch out for your rings and long earrings - but it didn't fray or fall apart with the whole evening's affair. The mesh is very thin, so whatever you wear undermeath will show pretty clearly. The wrap is a cape, really, and long, though I guess you could throw one side over your opposite shoulder for a wrap effect. I am only 5ft tall, so the length took it down below my knees, which was fine for me, but if I were looking for a mini-skirt effect, it would be too long. I loved this product.

I like to dress up regular casual clothes, and this shawl really does the trick. Because it is a kind of neutral color, it goes with almost everything - but really looks stunning if you have a black top and bottom, or a white top and bottom. Really any time you pair it with a top and bottom of a solid color, you can't go wrong.
