The charger will usually only charge the battery for 1 hour before switching to absorb. Once it does it often stops charging at all for a bit. If the battery is very discharged it will charge longer but very seldom will it bring the battery to more than 80% charged. This was determined using a battery monitor. To get it to continue charging, turn it off, for 30 seconds and then back on.It will run for another hour. This is my second one. The first lasted 8 years on a sailboat. Should have lasted longer.

Came faster than expected. Nice looking unit. Have not installed yet. Rated 4 will change/update when we see it work.
