The folding out cutting board actually works better than I anticipated (I’d still buy a large flat one though). Likewise the see through marker. Both are in inches only. The cutting wheel is super sharp (it is like a pizza wheel. The unpicker could be useful. The rest is just stuff you’d probably have around. If the current price is correct, then that seems a little dear for the collection. It doesn’t come with any material.

This is the perfect set for anyone thinking about getting into patchwork & quilting. All of the included tools are of top quality and the folding cutting mat folds out to twice the packaged size. All you need to do is add material of your choice, as all of the essentials are included. You'll also need a sewing machine if quilting, due to the size, although you could do it by hand if you have plenty of time on your hands.If it's your first time patchworking, there are plenty of videos online to get you started.The included aqua trick marker is a fantastic addition to the set, being water erasable, and the adjustable rotary cutter makes light work of cutting your chosen material.Overall, this set is fantastic and offers great value to anyone beginning out in the patchwork and quilting craft.

I'm not going to lie, to me, someone who forgets how to knit every few months and has to be re taught by her patient mother, this is freaking expensive for a few items. But who am I to judge? No, screw it, I still think it's too expensive and would never pay it for myself. But if you are passionate about quilting and it's something you enjoy and have more of an understanding of the expense than I do then go for it. I got it on Vine (as the heading will tell you) and new a family friend enjoys this kind of stuff. She was happy with it, while I looked at her like it was something I found in a cave somewhere as I don't have a clue. She uses it and that's great as I hope I'll get a free quilt out of it, something we all want with winter coming.
