I have a few jacks around the condo. Noticed the switch in the office was only connecting up at 100 meg instead of the 1 gig it should've been. Tried a few things and still no go. The only thing left was the small patch panel in the utility room. While the tester wasn't identifying any open pairs I was still suspect of the panel as a tech had been in not long ago to install some fiber.I grabbed this punch down tool just to make sure all wires were seated well. The tool has that satisfying click when pressing it down. My wires were already trimmed but it does have a blade to cut off the excess. After hitting all the pairs the switch connected up at a gig so the tool did it's job. If I was running cable for a living, this probably wouldn't be my only punch down tool in the box. It works great to run a few cables around the house or to help out that friend who needs a jack run at home.

This punchdown tool is easy to use and effective. It makes installing RJ45 jacks fast and easy. Seems fairly well constructed.

Très utile pour mes travaux de câblage à la maison. L’outil est robuste et facile à manipuler. Bien qu’il ne soit pas destiné à ma fille, elle aime observer comment je l’utilise pour mes petits bricolages. Bon produit pour les amateurs de travaux manuels.

Cumpre bem com o seu propósito. Torna a tarefa de encaixar os fios no devido local muito fácil e rápida. Faz bem o corte no final e é fácil de manusear.
