I have a 3 pin 13amp charging cable 8 metres long, which I use to charge my ev overnight. So, rather than pack it away every morning, this product lets me wrap it around and keep it safely off the ground. It’s easy to install. I’ve no need to plug it in to the holding socket as my cable is protected with a cap. I’ve tried it though and it plugs in firmly. For, me the issue is the product is not big enough to wrap the cable around neatly. I think many people with 8 metres long wires will find this. If you have a smaller length cable, you will be much happier. I’m satisfied with it however but I’d like a bigger lip at the top to hold the wire back. Installation is straightforward (just to lugs and screws).

Das ist noch keine abschließende Beurteilung. Nach Montage des Gerätes fällt der Fehlerstromschutzschalter, sobald das Gerät an das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist. Vermutlich liegt es daran, dass das schwere Kabel für die Strom - Zuleitung zum Gerät "freihängend" an den Strom Klemmen des Gerätes angeschlossen wird, da eine Absicherung des Kabels gegen Last technisch nicht vorgesehen ist. Anders als bei etwa jedem Gerätestecker. Was durch einen simplen Bügel über dem Kabel mit zwei Schrauben erreicht werden kann, sollte auch bei diesem Gerät kein Luxus sein. Sollte der Defekt also tatsächlich nicht der elektrischen Hausinstallation zuzuschreiben sein und nur an der Wallbox liegen, was der Elektrotechniker in den nächsten Tagen feststellen wird, bleibt es bei dieser negativen Beurteilung.

This is a great holder for your charger. Our charger unit is actually inside our garage, however we have mounted this on the wall outside and run the charging cable underneath the garage door for regular use. When the car is out this holder looks after the end of the cable neatly. It has a nice lip on the top so you can coil the cable around a few times also.There is a release catch which needs to be pressed down to release the cable. This is very easy to use with one hand, and does a good job of stopping the cable falling out unexpectedly.I have recommended one of these to a friend at work who drives an EV also (they seem to be everywhere these days!)
