Diese Dampflanze funktioniert anders als das Standard-Modell Gaggia Pannarello. Das Modell Pannarello von Gaggia erzeugt Makroschaum, indem es durch einen Lufteinlass/Schlitz in dem schwarzen Kunststoffteil Luft mit Dampf zusammenbringt. Diese Rancilio-Dampflanze verfügt nicht über eine derartige Vorrichtung, daher muss sie anders verwendet werden, um Mikroschaum herzustellen. Wenn Sie diese Dampflanze lediglich in die Milch eintauchen, wie Sie dies mit Ihrem Pannarello-Originalmodell tun würden, ist das Ergebnis nur warme Milch.
Tipps für die Verwendung: Für den Anfang ist die Nutzung von fettfreier Milch einfacher, bis Sie Ihre Technik perfektioniert haben. Die Spitze der Dampflanze muss sich gerade so in der Milch befinden, wenn nicht gar ein klein wenig darüber.

If you have a Gaggia Classic with the 'plastic' steam wand you neeed one of these if you want to make quality 'foam'. Easy to fit, a little practice to get the foaming/aeration right and you'll soon be your very own home barista.

Straight forward to change, works well. Plenty of YouTube videos showing how to change it, a bit fiddly but not difficult. Much better than the original contraption.

Installation to ecp31.21 went ok, took about an hour. I guess the wand gets extremely hot, because milk burned to it.

As this is sold as a "conversion" then it should really have the groove to receive the retaining clip that the original short-as-**** wand has on a Delonghi.There's not real way to lock this back in place once fitted. Only the hose being attached stops it moving completely freely.That aside, it does its job as a barista quality pressure wand for the steam. Its certainly a step up.
