These beeswax candles, smell great. The color is natural, but aesthetically pleasing. These appear to be good quality, and burn slowly, without a great deal of smoke. Good product..

The candles came boxed exactly as shown. All packaging is recyclable perforated and corrugated cardboard. The color is medium amber as indicated. Candles measure just over 7 1/2 inches tall and 3/4 inch wide at the base - so just a little smaller than described.There is a very slight pleasant smell, though not honey-like like some beeswax candles. There is a very slight ridge up the side of each candle from manufacture. It is not really visible, but can be felt.The candles are just a bit too small for a standard candle holder, so I had to put hot wax in the base to hold a candle securely. I lit one and let it burn for an hour in a 70 degree (f) room with no draft. It burned steadily with no odor. The flame used up 1 1/2 inches of the candle. At this rate, the candle would last more than 4 hours. Because of the taper shape, I expect it would burn slower over time.These are good quality candles, but be aware that they are not the full length and diameter of standard tapers.

The candles are a decent size that fit easily into my candle holders without being too large or too narrow in width. The 8” length size includes the wick. They do drip if burning for long periods of time and they seem to burn faster than suggested.There is a slight honey smell if you lift them to your nose, (unlit of course) but undetected while burning. Dogs can smell them just fine and will eat them, at least my dog chewed/ate one candle. He didn’t show any signs of illness or discomfort but I wouldn’t recommend as a chew toy.My plan was to use the candles for emergency purposes but with one candle burned for testing and another for the dog’s dietary fiber I may need to order more candles.

I only burn beeswax candles. These are very nice candles. They are very lightly scented of beeswax. Their feel and smell make me think they truly are mostly beeswax, if not 100%. They're are not as fragrant or quite as soft as other beeswax candles I've had, so it could be a processing difference or a small amount of other type of wax.These look wonderful with a nice golden beeswax color and smooth wax. They're shaped well and fit in my metal taper candelabra just fine. They burn beautifully, with no nasty smoke or off scents.
