first time I used one so watched a tutorial on YouTube,glad I did.just make sure you've lined your flight in correctly and works perfect everytime.Well worth the price. Keeps the flight in much more secure than if you don't use one.

Had a few issues with shafts breaking and flights falling out, decided to go the route of getting a flight punch. Very easy to use, the insert is alighed so the dart fills a natural position and then one easy push and the hole is cut. All you then have to do is insert the ring, open the flight and reattach to the dart. Since converting to this approach I have thrown in excess of 1000 darts and only had one flight come off. It retained it's ring and I just put it back on, also no broken shafts, something I use to experience about once in every 200 throws.Would highly recommend.
