Very disappointed with this but just don't have it in me at the moment to sort out a return. The plastic is that kind that if you make a mistake with fitting the top and bottom - it can easily crack. Once in position, it's not entirely watertight if you tip it to where the two halves meet. The perch is so narrow that even a small bird like my lovebird has trouble grasping the perch bit at the entrance to the bath which makes him feel very unsafe and so he's stopped bothering with it altogether. The depth from the perch height to the base is quite deep for a small bird and with nowhere secure to perch my lovebird had trouble testing the water and the depth of it from where he was standing. We're told to keep the water shallow but in order for it to be shallow it has to be quite far down from where the bird would be standing. He kept looking for purchase on the inside so he could grasp something with his beak to then lower his leg in but of course there's nothing all smooth on the inside ... so he gave up and won't go near it now. Such a shame.

It clips together nicely, you have to be gentle with it, I imagine it would snap easily but its a generous size , my budgie loves it and what do you expect for £2!!

good bath, but not great if you have breeding cages as the hooks don't catch the bar as they hooks arnt long enough.
