Ich habe diese aufblasbare Schwimmweste, weil ich für das Meer nach einer Weste, welche zugleich leicht und praktisch ist, auf der Suche war. Die Schwimmweste, die mit Luft aufgeblasen wird, kann für viele Wasseraktivitäten wie Schwimmen, Kajakfahren, Jetskifahren und ähnliche Wassersportarten genutzt werden. Was mir aufgefallen ist, dass sie sich schnell und einfach aufbläst und gut sitzt, ohne zu drücken oder zu stören.Die Weste ist für Erwachsene gedacht, sie hält gut über Wasser und gibt ein Gefühl von Sicherheit. Sie ist nicht sperrig, sodass man normal schwimmen kann. Ich mag auch die verstellbaren Gurte, mit denen man sie gut anpassen kann. Nach der Nutzung lässt sie sich leicht entlüften und nimmt nicht viel Platz in der Tasche ein.Allerdings würde ich sie nicht für das offene Meer empfehlen, da sie beschädigt oder durchstochen werden könnte. Aber für Spaß und Wassersport in Küstennähe ist sie perfekt geeignet.Alles in allem eine tolle Sache für unbeschwerten Spaß und Schwimmen, auch wenn das Wasser etwas unruhig ist.Bewertung: 4 von 5.

Beim Kajakfahren oder Schnorcheln gibt mir diese Schwimmweste ein sicheres Gefühl, ohne meine Bewegungsfreiheit einzuschränken. Sie ist leicht aufzublasen und schnell einsatzbereit, was besonders praktisch ist, wenn es spontan ins Wasser geht. Durch die leuchtende Farbe bin ich auch aus der Ferne gut sichtbar – ein beruhigendes Extra bei offenen Gewässern. Nach der Nutzung lässt sie sich klein zusammenfalten und nimmt kaum Platz im Gepäck ein.Ein kleiner Nachteil ist, dass der Beingurt manchmal etwas nachjustiert werden muss, damit die Weste optimal sitzt.

Die aufblasbare Schwimmweste kommt in verschiedenen Farben und lässt sich leicht zusammenfalten, was den Transport erleichtert. Laut Hersteller bietet sie hohen Auftrieb mit einer Tragfähigkeit von bis zu 220 lbs (ca. 100 kg) und verfügt über Beingurte, die verhindern sollen, dass die Weste nach oben rutscht.Ein erster Eindruck des Produkts fällt positiv aus, allerdings konnte ich die Weste aufgrund der aktuellen Wetterbedingungen noch nicht im Wasser testen. Die tatsächliche Funktionalität beim Schwimmen oder bei Wassersportaktivitäten lässt sich daher momentan nicht beurteilen. Sobald ein Praxistest möglich ist, werde ich meine Bewertung entsprechend aktualisieren.

FORWEWAY Swimming Jacket Snorkeling Vest Inflatable Jacket Bright Color Swimming Vest Buoyancy Swimming Waistcoat Snorkeling for Adults Fitting Water SportsThis swimming/snorkelling vest is handy to take on activity holidays where is packs small and doesn't take up too much room in your luggage. The quality of the vest seems good being a polyester outer layer with PVC and a mesh back panel. The jacket zips up at the front and there are 2 straps at the bottom to secure around the top of the legs to prevent it riding up the body when in the water. The zipper is a little stiff and clunky. The inflatable sections of the jacket include both the front and side panels as well as around the back of the neck. Its manually inflated by mouth via a tube at the top left side of the vest which only takes about a minute to do.Deflating is straight forward and you just need to press down on the tip of the tube. If worn by children you will need to ensure they don't accidentally press this part when worn although extra air can be added if necessary whilst the jacket is being worn. The inflator is placed out of the way so this should not be a problem.The vest is probably best suited for holiday and leisure activities rather than for professional use but its very reasonably priced and gives peace of mind especially for those not so confident in the water.

Took this inflatable swimming vest on a family trip to Loch Morlich, where the water was, as always, cold enough to make you feel it in your bones. I wasn't keen on dragging bulky life jackets around for everyone, so this felt like a good compromise. I chose the black one, which looks quite smart, though it might not be the easiest to spot from a distance compared to the brighter colours.It packs down to about the size of a paperback and takes under a minute to inflate by mouth. It felt sturdy for what it is, made from PVC with a decent-quality polyester outer layer. The dual air chamber is a reassuring feature, and the leg strap does a solid job of keeping it from riding up, which is a common issue with many inflatables. That said, it's not built for rough waters or serious rescue situations.For light use like snorkelling or paddling in calm water, it's decent value for just over twenty quid. Just don't count on it when the conditions get any rougher than your average serene Scottish loch.

I must say, I'm rather chuffed with how easy it is to transport - you can deflate it down to the size of a book, which beats lugging around my chunky life jacket that resembles a miniature boat!The vest comes in several colours - and I kid you not, one of them caught my eye from what felt like a mile away! It's brilliant for staying visible; my children always joke that I'm the family's dolphin after wearing it out on the water so many times. The dual air chamber design gives you that extra bit of safety. If one chamber decides to pack it in like some silly balloon mishap, the other keeps you bobbing along nicely.The leg straps can be a tad uncomfortable when you're trying to channel your inner mermaid. I'd advise not pushing the weight limit of 220 lbs too much. All things considered, it's a proper bargain for water activities, given its quality and features without breaking the bank.

I got this snorkeling vest for my son for a trip to Langkawi, Malaysia (which is an amazing place, by the way!), and it worked out pretty well. It packs down to about the size of a paperback, so it doesn’t take up much space in the luggage. Inflating it is super quick—just takes a minute or so by mouth. It feels pretty sturdy for what it is, made from PVC with a polyester outer layer, so it should hold up fine for casual use like snorkeling or paddling in calm water.The dual air chambers are a nice touch, just in case one gives out—you’ve got a backup to keep you floating. The leg strap does its job of keeping the vest in place, which is always a win since a lot of inflatable vests tend to ride up. That said, the strap can get a little uncomfortable after a while, so it’s worth adjusting for a better fit.We used it in calm water, and it was great! It kept my son nice and buoyant, and I didn’t have to worry about him struggling to stay afloat. Plus, the bright yellow color makes it easy to spot, which is really comforting when you’re out in open water.For just over twenty quid, it’s a pretty good deal.
