Das Set ist gut ausgestattet. Für so viele Teile ist das Preisleistungsverhältnis auch gut. Es ist zum größten Teil aus Plastik, was mich nicht stört. Auch für Anfänger ist das Set geeignet und durch die praktiscje Box, kann man es auch mitnehmen.

It is like the end of a knitting machine needle or what I once bought in a tiny version as a "Snag tool" made for pulling snagged threads to the inside of knitted fabrics such as Crimplene, I am showing my age now. You can use it to pull tiny strands of yarn (too small to grip) back through knitted or crochet work from front to back.Metal and plastic needles ok.Circle markers (complete rings) You slide these on to your knitting needles. Unfortunately these proved to be of the "HARD" variety and can sometimes scratch polished surfaces of wood needles and obliterate gradually any sizing marks on the surface of needles or interchangeable needle tips.The preferable "SOFT" variety don't damage needles and can flip from left hand needle to right hand needle more easily than these "hard" ones. I do use these "Hard" ones to mark the beginnings of part of an Aran pattern or on circular needles where the ring is spending most of its time on a cable as you knit. The ring marking the beginning of a circular row or marks on a sweater body knitted in the round where the front and back meet at both sides.Split marker rings. I suppose these have their uses - I keep a few around as you can thread through yarn layers used in crochet but I find in knitting they drop out too often for me. I prefer the plastic safety pin type of marker in knitting.Stainless steel tool for threading. This has a tiny ring that slides along the tool thus opening and tightly closing it. This would be much better for elastic or ribbon than a wide eyed blunt needle or a flat holed piece of plastic as it would hold the elastic tight while it travelled through a waistband or tube. Definitely worth having. Seller would be better calling it "Stainless Steel elastic and ribbon threader"Needle caps - commonly called point protectors. Apart from that use I keep some smaller ones to fit on the ends of cable needles which makes especially the thinner cable needles easier to pick up. This is for when I just hold stitches temporarily such as in a cable or plait and I can either knit from the cable needle or place saved stitches back on a knitting needle.Plastic locking markers - similar action to safety pins. You can use as markers or as stitch holders for a stitch or two. If I have to do 5 increases row by row - I close a marker pin nearby till I have five pins. Works the same with decreases.A tip, if you have the flexible kind of pin - they do tend to be dearer you can store unused any way but if yours are the more hard plastic leave them unfastened when out of user or they will snap quite soon.The more flexible ones I have even washed in the washing machine by mistake and they have survived.Gold copper pins. I don't know why they are called pins. These open and you can fix to things without loops or such things as old ear rings to use as personal knitting markers. I have gold, silver coloured ones in my stash as well as pink and blue. In the past I used silver ones to suspend things from a silver Christmas tree but you can use green thread or yarn through them to suspend things on to a green tree. Good idea I think.There are also two things unnamed that I call "pinching pegs". These have holes so could be "pinched" on to an object leaving no damage and be hung or suspended by yarn. You can also use them to hold knitted work together while you join them.I really feel that the price paid for this item is well worth it.nb. the box arrived save with its blue catch secure. I feel sure I have bought empty boxes such as these for sewing machine spools. There is another idea for you.

Le kit indispensable pour les fans de couture et pour les débutants. Tout ce qu'il faut pour commencer et a un prix raisonnable

Zuerst war ich über die Qualität skeptisch. Als ich es dann ausgepackt hatte wurde ich eines Besseren belehrt. Dieses kleine Köfferchen hat die wichtigsten Utensilien schön geordnet. Die Qualität kommt auch an namenhafte Produkte heran und sogar der Fadenschneider ist richtig scharf! Die diversen Maschenmarkierer sind gut verarbeitet, mein manchen kann ein kleiner Plastikgrat sein, den kann man aber problemlos vorsichtig abfeilen (kam jetzt nur bei einem der ganzen Markierer vor). Alle Teile kann ich gut gebrauchen zum Sticken und Häkeln, nur eine komische Nadel die aussieht wie ein großes T gibt mir noch Rätsel auf, was das sein soll....Der Aufbewahrungsbehälter ist in Ordnung, aber bitte nicht zu fest drücken. Das Plastik ist doch recht weich. Wenn also der Verschluss nicht gleich einrastet, lieber noch ein mal den Deckel anheben und erneut versuchen, den Deckel keinesfalls zu fest auf die Box drücken.

Als Strick-Wiedereinsteigerin, die so gut wie alles vergessen hat und trotzdem sehr schnell anspruchsvollere Stricktechniken ausprobieren will, habe ich mir dieses Set bestellt. Ich dachte, für den Preis kann ich nichts falsch machen, und gerade weil ich diese Accessoires am Foto überhaupt nicht kenne und nicht einordnen kann, sollte ich es mir bestellen.Das Letzte, was ich will, ist ein anspruchsvolles Strickprojekt anzufangen und dann mittendrin zu merken, dass ich nicht weiterkomme, weil mir das passende Zubehör fehlt.Und, in der Tat, mit Stricknadeln alleine hätte ich mein Zopfmuster nicht hinbekommen. Ich lade ein Foto hoch, sonst kann ich das nicht erklären, weil ich nicht einmal weiss, wie diese Teile alle heissen. Hier die Gründe, warum ich es nach ein paar Wochen Gebrauch besonders nützlich finde:- die grosse grüne stumpfe Vernähnadel. Ich hatte Nadeln, aber keine, die gross genug ist um mein XXL-Garn durchzubekommen und die Anfangs- und Endfäden meines Projektes damit anständig vernähen zu können. Ich stricke gerade sehr dickes Garn mit 20-er Stricknadeln.- das grüne Kegel-Hütchen. Ich hatte keine Ahnung, wozu das gut sein soll, bis ich beim Zopfstricken eine dritte Nadel brauchte und dafür eine Nadel meines (anderen) Stricknadelsets benutzte, die in etwa gleich dick ist wie die Nadeln, mit denen ich stricke. Und diese Nadel lâuft auf beiden Seiten spitz zu. Nicht praktisch, wenn man darauf Maschen zwischenlagern will, weil die sonst leicht wieder herunterrutschen! Da kam dieses Kegel-Hütchen genau recht. Ich habe es einfach auf die Stricknadel aufgesteckt und dann hat alles gehalten.- diese drei kurzen verformten Stricknadeln (blau, rosa, grün). Jetzt weiss ich, wofür die gut sind. Sie dienen zum Maschenaufbewahren beim Zopfmusterstricken. Die in diesem Set enthaltenen Grössen waren leider alle zu dünn für mein XXL-Garn, das ich wie erwähnt mit 20er-Nadeln stricke. Ich denke, wenn ich einmal mit normalem Garn stricke, werde ich diese drei Nadeln sicher verwenden.- das gelbe lange Ding mit zwei metallenen Enden. Es dient dazu, versehentlich fallengelassene Maschen wieder nach oben zu bekommen.- die kleinen rosa Kringel, die auf einer Seite offen sind. Als es beim fast fertigen Schal darum ging, drei Knöpfe anzunähen und ich die richtigen Stellen vorm Spiegel bestimmt habe, musste ich diese Stellen ja irgendwie markieren, und dafür waren diese Kringel genau richtig.Es stimmt, alles in dieser Box ist aus Plastik und made in China, aber funktionieren tut es trotzdem. Ein besseres Set habe ich nicht gefunden, zumindest nicht auf Amazon.

Great little kit with lots of bits and bobs for knitting/crochet. Value for money is great in my opinion - all my stitch markers and things were in good condition, and although the case isn't going to withstand any serious resilience tests... It's good for sitting in a project bag to take out with you.I also purchased previously the smaller kit that is available - I would probably recommend that over this, as I don't feel this larger set contained anything the smaller one doesn't (apart from greater number of stitch markers, etc.). I also found the snippy tool in this set to be a bit rubbish - not really sharp enough to snip wool. Whereas the grey handled snipper in the small tool is super and I use it all the time.

Ich stricke Lace und habe mir dieses kleine Set bestellt weil ich auf der Suche nach Maschenmarkierern darüber gestolpert bin. Dieses Set habe ich Bestellt weil es mir als sinnvoller kleiner Querschnitt über die Vielzahl an Strickhelfern erschien.Ganz klar gibt es die einzelnen Produkte auch in einer gehobenen Qualität aber ich würde sie nicht wie mein Vorschreiber als enttäuschend und zum "vergessen" beschreiben. Für mich tut es definitiv auch ein Plastigring um meine Maschen zu markieren. Und auf dem Ring muß auch nicht Prym und Co. stehen. Dieses kleine Set ist zweckmäßig und beinhaltet definitiv mehr als man normalerweise braucht.Zum Einstieg für den Anfang auf jeden Fall geeignet und zum Preis von 10€ absolut zu empfehlen.
